No mater how many times I watch this I still can't follow what is going on. It's mostly that business with the legs and waist spinning around over and over. But for some reason that doesn't detract from the experience.
is it me or did it take so long to turn in to a robot i mean if this was real life by the time it was done my great grandkids who have great grand kids I know its a cartoon show and everything but dam why does it have to take so long to turn in to a robot
that was the most unnessary transformation i think ill ever see... if he was on a battlefield and had to do that, i mean really, 1 minute and 25 seconds... its insane...
Both the "Braves" and "Transformers" were made by the Takara toy company. The Braves kept Takara going until the Transformers regained their popularity in 2000's.
this is great game ever since the first Brave Saga 1 on PSX tactics RPG it was Japanese though no English version =.= what great on this was some scene like this are very cool that you never seen on TV's b4 i was going to post every Transformation video but my CD got fucked up and its very rare to find it now even on Internet
That's why the Americans make better mecha then the Japanese. American mechs such as Transformers can transform faster which is good for combat. American mechs can also think for themselves and dont need humans to pilot them such as all Japanese mechs seem to still do. American mechs use strategy and superior group tactics rather then the clunky big robots that take five minutes to transform and often need to combine from 5 smaller mechs to even give thier enemies a paper cut.
It's called culture difference. This one was really long, but most of them are much shorter than this. Not to mention kids love watching a cool transformation/combine sequence. I know I loved them.
strategy and group tactics? Like the famous "Decepticons! Retreat!" strategy? Sentient robots are still quite rare in both countries, though Japan has more of them, They have Transformers, Machine Robos, Braves and more, are there any robots like that in USA aside from TFs? And, extremely inteligent robots are even more rare. Humans just don't like it when they are bossed by robots :P
no if you read transformers started here in the USA with the first episodes,it didn't become big until transformers hit japan and then it came back to America and because of that everyone thinks the original transformers are anime when their cartoon
Never in my life have i ever seen a transforming sequence that's impressive, painstaking & tedious all at the same time. LOL just kidding there bro :)
If you want to see an even more complex transformation, I suggest you look at Deathfacer from the movie 'Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Dyna: Warriors of the Star of Light'.
nice - looks in the very similar voltron style of today... he'll it's even got the same sword sound towards the end of the transformation and the classic pose!
He looks absolutely nothing like Voltron, unless you're unable to distinguish things from other things IE; Since the subject of this video is a thing and Voltron can also be considered a thing, therefore they are completely identical, and in fact, everything is identical to Voltron, everything in the entire universe is Voltron.
...get your eyes checked dude, he doesn't have lion heads all over him and his transformation is complex as hell, and oh yeah, he's only got two parts. If four identical jets flew in to form his arms and legs, fine, you have a point. Until then, don't ever say any robot looks like Voltron again, you only make yourself look like an idiot.
So OK I can totally understand where I perhaps didn't clarify my meaning. Please allow me to do so here: I did not mean that this character looked like Voltron as it clearly does not. I was merely mentioning my opinion that the style of transformation was quite similar to that of voltron but not limited to the original Voltron series. Apparently there is a newer series that uses the same type CGI effects that this series does in many aspects. My sincere apologies for this confusion.
Oh, well sorry, I just get so tired of people seeing a robot clip and saying they look like Voltron or that it's a rip off, it happens so much it drives me crazy, so I overreacted, I apologize.
I totally understand what you mean there. I enjoy these shows greatly and very much appreciated the clip you posted in every way. I grew up watching Voltron, Grendizer, and Tranzor Z and often check up to see how my childhood heroes are fairing in today's world. Thanks again and much respect.
ide love to have the toy for that.
