One guy made on one of the RC forums(i think it was on rcgroups) something that looked very similar out of printed and folded paper or light cardboard and it came out looking really good also..he shared the printable templates on the thread ..i think he was japanese also if i recall correctly.
I'm actually all american going back about 7 generations:) but some of my ancestors wear from wales. My apache doesn't look any wear near as cool as this one. I think this apache kit came from a German kid, I have a link to his web site and he has about 15 canopies like this for sale.
You can easily mod it using foam thin sheets or paper to create a lightweight scale body. In fact, if your scale model comes out slightly heavier than the original toy, it will fly more realistic, hence it will losse some tendencies to float, as with the lighter original toy. Want to see a fully functional 4 channel 5" rotor heli? see my site or click on my name for more videos.
well when i was looking for something else i found a some, but they arn't picoo z relatives. go to amazon and in there search put apache rc and it will come up with some.
Can you please, post where you got the body? It really does not look like a Picco Z, it looks bigger. I bought a Revell 1:72 scale Apache kit and the body is to heavy especially with the side guns.
So, alot of people have asked and you will always be the first to do it!
So please, can you give details on how you achieved such a awesome heli?
this is not the picco z apache from Silverlit or airhogs. This one is a plastic model kit, the video was posted almost a year ago, long before the release of the picco z apache.
Their is a guy in Germany who makes these canopies, I'll send you a link to his site if you want.
Go to Target and they have then. They are celled the AirHogs Havoc heli. it's the same thing as the Pico Z. So go to Target and get one. They are only $30.00
If you look closely, you can tell that it is bigger than standard picco z's, Iam looking for the Apache currently and will tell EVERYONE, when I find one.
Is it possible that this may be new model? If it is sold in Europe and Japan, why can't I find it anywhere online? It looks like a combination of the PiccoZ and the Gyrotor. If anyone knows where to get one please tell us all.
Guess what people? These things are made in China and took over Europe first before they hit America,I saw where that Apache was made that way, he didnt do it!!
What a cute little shit X-)

Found it! It's the PICOOZ AH-1 COBRA BODY KIT FOR MICRO HELI
djemil5 5 years ago
It has the same blades as the Picco Z and flys the same too. Unless the Xrotor series of the AH64 is updated with newer blades this one is a mystery.
