I watched this movie on DVD, it was ok and I liked this ending better. Good movies to watch are Pride and Prejudice, and sense and sensibility. I own them watch them all the time, I like how they talk and how the character interact. I just recently saw the movie The Dutchess it was alright, I felt bad for her through out the entire movie. I also found this by accident since I just also recently watched Twilight and never knew Rob was in this movie.

This is the scene that made me fall for Rob. He is amazing in it and since I saw it I have loved him as an actor. The whole time i was reading Twilight I saw him from this role in my head. he is so vamiresque in this role and i was thrilled when they actually cast him as Edward!!! PERFECTION :D
The woman who made Twilight, Stephanie Meyer said when she wrote the script she was watching the Count of Monte Cristo and Henry Cavill from the Tudors was her inspiration for the charecter Edward. But when this was decided to get made Henry was considered to old but might make a good Carlile, he declined! Robert is a good alternative though.
This should've been the ending to that movie, her (Reese Witherspoon)finding her son is soooooo much better than her runing off with that one guy! The original ending killed the movie, it would've been a much better movie with this ending! Plus look how handsome Rob is and he did a great job!
The original ending was more in line with the book and it really is a bit unreal for her to say she always loved him.... She was absolutely horrible to him most of the time when he was a child
i agree with you on the comment on vanity fair, the orginal ending was better suited. after all, she explains why she never tried to get her son back in her life, he was better off with his aunt and uncle.. so in other words, both the characters got a better ending apart. it would have been lovely if she had made an attempt to reconcile with her "rowdy", but she was a survior who never wanted to danish her son's livelyhood (he was after all being taken care by money, that she could not give him)

I love this scene also not just because of [s]Edward[/s]... oops I mean Rob Pattinson... but it is beautiful...especially at the end when he grabs he mother's hand subtly...and that last line: "Love is vanity's conqueror."

This is the scene that made me fall for Rob. He is amazing in it and since I saw it I have loved him as an actor. The whole time i was reading Twilight I saw him from this role in my head. he is so vamiresque in this role and i was thrilled when they actually cast him as Edward!!! PERFECTION :D

The woman who made Twilight, Stephanie Meyer said when she wrote the script she was watching the Count of Monte Cristo and Henry Cavill from the Tudors was her inspiration for the charecter Edward. But when this was decided to get made Henry was considered to old but might make a good Carlile, he declined! Robert is a good alternative though.

This should've been the ending to that movie, her (Reese Witherspoon)finding her son is soooooo much better than her runing off with that one guy! The original ending killed the movie, it would've been a much better movie with this ending! Plus look how handsome Rob is and he did a great job!

The original ending was more in line with the book and it really is a bit unreal for her to say she always loved him.... She was absolutely horrible to him most of the time when he was a child

i agree with you on the comment on vanity fair, the orginal ending was better suited. after all, she explains why she never tried to get her son back in her life, he was better off with his aunt and uncle.. so in other words, both the characters got a better ending apart. it would have been lovely if she had made an attempt to reconcile with her "rowdy", but she was a survior who never wanted to danish her son's livelyhood (he was after all being taken care by money, that she could not give him)

i saw this a while ago and now that he has been cast in Twilight...i was thinkin' why couldn't they get the makeup artist who 'made him up' in Vanity fair to do him (haha, im dirty! JK!) for Twilight? Not smiling yet hot as the pit of hell attitude. In fact, why didn't Meyer base her book in England where they could justify being all prim and proper and repressed (a.k.a. wanting to take out a lot of sexual frustration *wink*wink)? It worked for Anne Rice, whom i love with all my heart :P
