Wow I was there then too at Shiva's shack. New year on the beach with fire twirling. Ganja is legal for use in cooking but not for smoking. But no big deal usually, if u don't rub the cops nose in it.

go to the zoo in koh kong with the boxing monkeys its quite amusing,you will have to ride a boat to get across to koh kong though sihanoukville(kompong som) is not that special..all there is the peaceful beach

Very nice and quiet there. I used to go there 3 times/year when I lived in Phnom Pehn but not since I moved to US. Miss it soo much.

Ha. So easy to get stuck there. I was there last April 2007 stayed for 8 days. Man I wanted to stay longer but had to come back to work. I plan on going again.
