  • Thats really good. It might have been a bit more realistic if you changed the contrast on the dancers to render them a bit darker, but overall that's pretty cool.

  • that´s really helpful for sick dancers......

  • What is the name of this technique, I would like to know how it's done...

  • FAIL !

  • if you added shadows, the footage would really be better. They float in air without them

  • how is this 4d? it's 3-dimensional and above all it's pointless lol. put him on a cliff or scale his size or something to make it have a point.

  • Please look at my face. Just because you can. (Shown Below)

    o_o

  • Sniperviper22, ur a VFX supervisor and ur being seriuos? Are you a retard?.

  • Yes, I'm serious.

You don't have any idea how this kind of technology could be useful in order to add more flexibility in a production...

    Seriously, go to spam elsewhere...

  • I really dont understand how this is 4d. This is just camera tracked footage, with elements composited in. The coloure corecting is piss poor, along with the compositing, actually it makes it look really bad. There is NO 4d.

  • 3 dimensional + time as a 4th dimension.. objects in this clip are present over all 3 directions plus they are present over time

  • n00b

  • ...For fuck sake.

  • Poseidonrsw wtf are you talking about?

  • When you pull the alpha channel make sure you totally clean the Foreground noise this helps when you render a clean sequence also you might want to pull and mess around with their RGB values. One last thing don't forget those contact shadows I can't stress that enough its a vital part in compostiting. I would beleive that this was 4d but I know compositing and your using a card system with a 3d projection.

  • Finally, experiments in real 4-D. Many imposters thinking they display 4-D when they are not. This video is legit

  • How many camera do you use?

  • Soz just realized they do have shadows but theyre o faint I can hardly see them especially in the table scene.

  • Liked it a lot, but the people are missing shadows, and it looks fake because of that. Otherwise I'm amazed.

  • holy crap! you could make some kind of Matrix type thing or... time stop sequence. that is awesome!

  • Great job!!!

  • what kind camera did you use for shooting the dancers?

  • We used our 4DV Classic system, which is a multi-camera acquisition rig. I think back then we used 13 or 14 different acquisition sources.

  • Do you have any web link for the rig system you had. We are very interested in 4D. I liked your composition. Very well executed.

  • @4dviews but what type of cameras? RED? Canon? Sony? ...? Love the opportunities here for realistic shadows!

  • wow, at first i thought they were really dancing on the pavement and i was like, damn shouldnt that like hurt?! lol.

  • nice

  • lol wicked nice vid!
