Vista with SP2 is actually more stable than Windows 7, believe or not. It's so stable under 64 bit, then I haven't even decided to switch to Windows 7, even when do own it. Over time Windows 7 will be more stable, but right now without any service packs it's staying in the box.

here is a start, design, all macs are made out of aluminum not plastic. Also screen resolution. Apple products have very high screen res. And you say windows 7. Vista requires double the RAM as XP, even though it makes it possible to use more than 3 GB.

Generally Vista is the slowest OS i've ever seen. (After 9x and 3.x). If you add style to it, you lose performance. Also to notice that DreamScene comes only with the Ultimate package, which you have to pay the double for.

The sidebar doubles your boot time, but what doesnt in Vista.
