Honestly playing this has made me think. Why did Nobuo Uematsu leave the moment Square Enix formed? He said it was because he got sick of FF but here we have a game made by the creators of FF and he's happy to compose an amazing score for these guys. Makes you wonder what Nobuo Uematsu really thinks about Square Enix as a company. I think Square Enix made Nobuo lie so that it wouldn't tranish there name for futre FF releases. Which suck to be fair.

It's something to think about anyways.

@gustoThegangsta That's what I said long before that crappy FFXIII was released, but no-one believed me...I saw immediatily from trailers that the storyline, characters and dialoge of XIII were going to be totally terrible. Lost Odyssey on the other hand is one of the best games of this console generationa and deserves a sequel!

@GooGobbler113 Yeah I liked 8 as well but it was confusing and not as fun as 7 and X. But the thing I love about Tetsuya's art for FF is that in each game it changes which is good so characters won't look like a previous character like Akira Toriyama does.

This is IMO one of the best videogame openings EVER! Lost Odyssey is my Top 1 JRPG of this Generation!,

I can watch it every time and it will be always EPIC and fun in all aspects. It's sad to see how this game has been so underrated while JRPGs like FF XII have gotten high scores, being games that only get saved for their name, because, compared to the previous FFs, and with no intentions to offend anyone, is a total crap.

Usually in the trailers put many things (many of them pretty cool) that later are removed.

I like the way this game would talk about the horrifying nature of war a lot, especially in the "thousand years of dreams". They had a cinematic battle scene that most would consider "cool" or that they would actually want to take part in because they think it would be fun, but after the battle your met with all sorts of horrible scenarios throughout the game involving things like all the families that are now fatherless thanks to you, and stuff of that nature.

In fairness you would have no fear of battle if you couldn't die, thats sort of the point of the immortal characters in the game who are sort of indifferent to the idea.

If you read some of the dreams or whatever they are youll see it says that they cant be killed at all. Obviously if they can be killed kaim wouldve died in the beggining of the game (along with the girl with the blue hair but i cant remember her name). They dont "die" anyways if you wait a few turns the immortal characters will come back to life.

Immortal /= Invincible.

They can be killed but they wont die from natural causes.

At the start if this video that cinamatic has gotta be the best cinametic in the enitre game, this oen and teh cinematic of Seth with Toten saving Sed form the Guards. And the transofmration of cinemtaic into gameplay at 3:06 is amazing!

Although throughout teh enitre game the game doe slack save points, such as puzzle part before figthing the boss of Ancient Fiend in the temple ruins place then straight away having to figth another boss, without the oppurtunity of even saving.
