Yes. this is an endothermic reaction, called sublimation. The dry ice is CO2, goes right to gas when dropped in hot water. (Wait until all dry ice is gone, then feel the water! Fizzy!)

it take alot of co2 its the co2 tanks like in paint ball gun u know wen u shoot it its out the extra co2 comes out cold like that like this u take a bag of ice an get a co2 tank thats full an u re-leas it in the bag of ice an it will freeze it more making 0- below freezing were u cant touch it at all just like that making it ur self might be cheap but getting the tankan refilling it it ant lol
