Super Mario Kart (SNES) On Projector

Hey I have a projector and I'm going to buy a super nintendo. What kind of cables/adapters might I need to make this work? My projector is a Notevision 2 if that makes a difference... but it shouldn't. Thanks!!!! Also, I am thinking I can just buy a USB controller for my mac and just play games off my computer (which I can hook up to my projector) using the super nintendo emulator I downloaded. I just feel that playing off the actual system is a lot more nostalgic than using the emulator route.

the PAL version was sooo much more cosmetically appealing than the NTSC. whhy did nintendo re-design consoles iin the 1st place?
