  • @LSax94 i actually bought these and they are really bad:(

  • @3jcorpus Change the batteries, and check where the sound is coming from.

  • Dude you sound like obama lol.. Nice review tho i think i might buy them.

  • Pretty friggin good for one third the price of everything else except solos i think though:P

  • For the noise canceling part, I was hoping that I could quiet my office mate conversations with his noisy friends. The moment I turn on noise canceling, I hear them even LOUDER.

On a plane, the noise canceling feature is OK I guess. The airplane engine noise becomes a lot less, but I can still hear it.

  • I had this head phone since July 2011. Until Oct 2011, the wire doesn't work any more. Couldn't hear any audio. I replaced the wire with one that comes with a computer speaker and I can listen to music again. Then one month later, the head band broke right where the join between the two arms. Can't wear them any more. I was just pull the two ear pieces out to fit my head. Didn't do anything wrong with it. I guess I will bring it back to Costco

  • thanks man, this review is extremely helpful

  • Barrack Obama is that you!?

  • i watched with this video with these headphones LOL

  • costco 50 dollars,

    comfortaBle

    Durable

    Good cancallation

    Terrible for music

  • how badly does the noise leak?please answer

  • @3jcorpus very bad - I have them.

  • @sirpau1 i just got these. you're right :P thanks though

  • How good are the :

Bass(ex. Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People)

Dubstep & real voice singing(ex. Adele)

  • These are really good headphones. I have the NC200W. W for white. You can get them for $50 on amazon. I highly recommend the able planets. I own the Bose Quiet Comfort 15's (newest model as of today 9-22-11). The Bose is better. However, minimally. The noise cancelling is clearly better on the bose. AP's B+. Sound wise the AP's are 92% identical. My first pair of Bose broke on me so they are fragile. AP's still kicking. This is my second AP. Got this for the plane flight since they fold up.

  • Cheap, cheap, cheap!!! Sounds pretty good severely lacking in durability. Lasts about 6 months with moderate use.

  • just bought the white on amazon for $54 flat... epic! cant wait they will arrive in two days.. Liked the review.. Just hoped you would have mentioned about sound quality in more detail i mean its what a headphone is mostly about.. all we got was "i was very pleased with the sound quality" and this is a 7.32 min video.. :/

  • I bought this online for $50, I have to say it was a great deal :D

  • do they have good bass

  • @choloboyswag13 yes the bass is good.

  • should i get these or the bose qc15s

  • Just got a pair, and the price makes up for the minor problems. Check amazon.com I got mine for like $77. Great review Terry keep it up!

  • the cord looks long..... is it too long?

  • @brookfieldballer its really long, you will have tons of excess chord so if you hate long chords, these aren't for you.

  • even with the power off is it still good sound quality?

  • @ixboser its not very good. I would highly recommend keeping batteries with you.

  • I'm looking at purchasing the Xnc230r model by Able Planet and was wondering if you thought they were similar enough to the NC200B, enough that i could set store by opinion and research by this review- because if so, i think i'll get them. :)

  • 1 year later.... jus bought mine at Costco for $69 with no hiss. Yay!

Great review Terry. Consider me a subscriber!

    -Bill

  • Do you hear the hum with the wire completely detached from the unit?

  • @Ragingfighter1 yeah you still hear the hum even if disconnected.

  • I'm looking for headphones that...

    1. have better than average sound quality

    2. are fairly compact

    3. don't look goofy when i wear them

    4. don't break the bank( preferably 50-150)

    ...any suggestions

  • @crich695 I have a pair of Ableplanets and they work fine but what i'd suggest over all for a 50 - 150 $ range would be the Bose AE2s.. brand new, excellent quality, unBELIEVABLE comfort. deff- worth the price

  • Just got them and they're incredible!

  • Youll hear a little bit of hum no matter what depends on how good your hearing is. My bose headphones even hum a little

  • i wish i could like those headphones. the sound cancellation kinda gives me a headache

  • i saw these for 150$ on H&M what company is good for like 150-200. And i listen to music that has bass like trance

  • obama?

  • Comment removed

  • There on sale for 44 at bestbuy, should I get those? And what is the difference between the NC500 and the NC200

  • Thanks! Nice review! ☺

  • I want to Know if it is made of plastic ? if it is so it must be not so durable !! or solid!! somebody can tell me if they have some metal or something like that?? i bought a plastic one and it broke in a day !!! specially the part that links the speaker with everything else!!! please help i wanna buy it put i dont wanna waste 100$

  • @wirelesselectrode I got mine for $49 bucks at costco... great deal for the money if you ask me.

  • @AntiCreationism no problem dude and the end i bought the Pioneer HDJ 2000 for 299 euros... they are not bad !!!! and it is all made of magnesium !

  • I don't know what you are talking about but i just bought a pair of High Fidelity Headphones NC300B and I tried out the Bose QC-15 and I love these headphones as much as I love the Bose(: Its all about your opinion.

  • great review, i bought these at the airport the other day and they worked great, cut out all the engine roar and let me enjoy my music peacefully at a normal volume. there is also a faint hiss sound but its not too noticeable. the only thing i didn't like was the carrying case, it doesn't offer too much protection, but the headphones are sturdy. For the price its a great set of headphones.

  • sounds like onlyusemeblade xD

  • I have some really god and reaaaally cheap headphones.

    Sennheiser HD201 Price= I got them for 19 €

    noise canceling=good

    Sound=exelent, Bass=not that much

    Portablility=none

    Cable Volume Controll=none

    Cable Length=3 meters

  • \do this headfones leak noise out of them??

like wen your hearing them kind of loud can people next to you hear them as well??

  • they dont look solid or durable

  • @buckamoona

they are very durable, dropped mine alot of times, and they still works fine:p!

  • Btw I'm getting them to use them in my tv while playing modern warfare 2

  • Very helpful review Im looking for something not too expensive but with a desent quality performece

And I'm sure will get them for at least half or price by now

    Thanks

  • question: these able planet's or grado sr60i?

  • he sounds kinda like obama

  • @ftothee123 holy lol especially when he says 'however' at 5:59

  • @ftothee123 i'm pretty sure it's him

  • bout to order a pair from best buy............

  • Able Planet Headphone is not as good as Bose QC 15 nor the sound quality particularly the bass.

Though the audio is amazing pleasantly clear but the power punch out put is big turn off for most youngster who loves loud. One thing I like about is, the headphone consider reasonable price so when stolen when travel, would be a big deal.

  • yo man. u def seem like u kno ur stuff, so ill ask u a question. im thinkin about gettin these, probably will, is there any time of wireless accessory that is available anywhere that could be hooked up to the headphones with ur ipod, etc.?

  • It's pretty simple. My Bose QC2 headphones DON'T have a hum when nothing is playing. So the technology exists to do it. That's why people complain.

  • umm are the headphone on the top of your head very comfotable or no

and which u think are better the ones u have or the nc300w

  • i really dont understand why people complain about the small noise they hear when nothing is playing, that is the white noise created by the head phones that allows it to actually be noise canceling without that you would hear outside noise

  • could you do a review on the bose quiet comfort 2's

  • I'm also buying these because of this review

  • Great review man.. I'm buying these right now.

  • I have noticed that noise cancelling headphones tend to have better bass than most other headphones. How is the Bass when listening to music with these headphones?

  • do the headphones cover your entire ear?

  • Yes, they do.

  • @deserteagle2000 yes they do

  • What editing program did you use to edit this video??

  • Adobe Premiere CS4

  • Ooooo
