I am a bridgwater and mew and my mother ghost hunt almost every 2 weeks we meet another paranormalghost chasers and they had a candle we tryed to make the ghost blow it out (take note it was at night) and one of the pointy stones we asked a scared ghost to step and front of it every time we did the stone wuld get dark then light again also we had a bouncy ball that desapaired then reapieared by the gate were the gate keeper is reported to be also the team leader had a stone tip next to her

it was about 10 degres colder and before you walk in there the tree on the right you can see the rope marks where the people got hang thats a creepy Cemetery

If you need any proof of such things as examples of racial history look up non-school house history on Morgans Raiders from the cival-war and then guess how Scott County was built by the Morgan family money.

to corydwalker and newalbanywarriors. I'm 40 years old and have several friends in the area who are much much older who have lived there all their lives 80+ years for a couple of them. Scott county has a very racist history that has been burried and made to disappear.Go track down some locals who worked for city or county offices back in the 50's and they'll talk about it but will refuse to offer proof for the simple reason they don't want a bad name on the county.

Love the music... In Southern Illinois there are all kinds of cemetery's like this in rural locations. For a while I was on a kick of visiting them and photographing the old grave markers. I have never seen anything unusual at any of them.

I've heard the same thing, but never seen any proof on it. I believe it's a just a story that got started along with the others.

Where in Scottsburg is this cemetery located? I live about 20 min away from Scott Co, and would like to visit this place.

It is southeast of Scottsburg. If you go from the main intersection in Scottsburg at US 31 & SR 56, so south of Scottsburg to SR 356 at Vienna and turn left. Go into Vienna and turn right on Underwood Road for a mile to Bridgewater Road. Turn left and take it all the way to the very end of the road about 3 miles. This is where is located. I've been there in the daytime and there is an eerie sense there.

This is one of the most isolated & creepiest cemeteries I've ever seen! Have you ever seen any entities there? I saw one at an Illinois cemetery back in 2006 & I'll never forget how frightening it was to actually see a full-bodied apparition approaching me! It's something that stays with you forever.
