they needed to sell oil to rebuild the country, but kuwait sets it oil prices very low, this was a huge problem for iraq, they were asking for an invasion and iraq had no choice, btw the US ambassador told iraq that the US had no opinion on arab-arab conflict.

@semperfidelis777 The U.S.S. Enterprise CVN-65 was the only carrier task force used in these strikes. I was there aboard the Big "E". I was part of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 312 (VMFA-312) attached to Carrier Air Wing 3 (CAG 3) with the Enterprise Battle Group. My Commanding Officer at the time LtCol Steven M Pomeroy lead the first strikes. The Vinson did not show up for quite a few days after the campaign ended so that we could return to the Med to deal with the Kosovo Campaign.

What a lot of people don't know is that a big ground battle took place as part of desert fox. The US had a base in Baghdad and 1000 Iraqi troops marched in to take it. I was one of 5 people that was flown in to fight the mobilized Iraqi ground force. All 5 of us survived although one of my squad members nearly had his throat cut at the start of the battle. I saved him. It took us 20 minutes, but we won. We were the elite of the elite.

CNN showed a clip of the UFO me and my squad were flown in by. It hovered over the battlefield in Baghdad until the battle was over and then it picked us up and flew us back home. Quite an interesting story really. I'm glad I did something meaningful with my life eventhough I was pretty much forced into it.

The song in the beginning comes from the Splinter Cell Double Agent soundtrack. I cannot remember the exact song name, but if you search for the soundtrack u can download.

and its under "infiltration themes" and called "New York Infiltration Part 1" (the song whats playing during take-off) I did ripped Double Agent music from game-disc, and i don't know is there any Official Soundtrack from the game, and i don't know the artist of the song either!

thanks for your kind response. This is Operation Desert Storm version .7 from PMC. They made this theater for the Open Falcon simulator. This isn't the best theater in the library but it ain't bad. Balkans and Korea look the best due to hitiles.

i'm pretty sure its only compatible with Open Falcon which stems from Falcon 4.0. There are some 3rd party Allied Force Theaters but i'm not to familiar with any of those addons.

your going to have to find a dedicated Allied Force server that runs 24/7. I would suggest Multivipers, a server that runs a 24/7 realtime campaign. I am "Habu" in this server and I would be pleased to get you started.

I was with 2nd Battalion 4th Marines, 31st MEU aboard the USS Dubuque LPD 8, we arrived in the Gulf in late Nov, we were on the ground from Dec 2, until christmas morning. If any credit is due it is due to the Belleau Wood ARG, we arrived long before the Enterprise, and stayed in the gulf long after.
