  • 'GIMME THAT FUCKIN MONEY NOW,GET THE FUCK OUTA HERE'! nice well done!!!:)

  • This one and the Nic Cage one have nothing to do with each other other than the title. One is a serious movie. The other is a comedy. I don't see why people even compare them. Werner Herzog should have chosen a different title for his.

  • Who's the one arsehole that didn't like this....You must be fucking thick...

  • Great film but a fucked up ending. Why didn't he waste those two greaseballs.

  • I have just bought the so called uncut version there is a song/rap tune missing where he go's into the hospital to see the nun when she has been raped -Th etune go' somthing like hey mr bad ass your mother so low she sucked a dick of a maggot?? why was it cut anybody ? i watched this film about 15 years ago on channel 4 and it wasn't cut then?

  • @TheCorruptA I think you're refeering to the song "Signifying Rapper" by Schooly D. It was removed because it sampled "Kashimr" by Led Zepplin without being cleared by the band and upon viewing the movie, Jimmy Page objected strongly to its use.

  • THE REAL GREATEST STORY OF ALL TIME!!!

  • I'm a fuckin COP!!!

  • With this movie Ferrara has succeed doing a film Scorsese has been running after all his career long

  • @delysid22 Agree, even scorsese could not have made a movie as good as this.

  • @delysid22 scorsese is a great director

  • They don't make movies like this anymore. Too bad

  • Ive being like this guy on drugs thank god im clean now.

  • @irishhellsangel Thank God you're sober!

  • @eraserheadtoker Thank you, my life is far better now thanks for caring god bless you.

  • This song suited this movive so much bad lieutenand one of my favs ever.

  • this is an underrated movie

    keitel deserved a fuckin oscar

  • @FiswaT You are completely correct: Keitel does deserve a fucking oscar for Bad Lieutenant, he gave one of the most powerful performances of all time.

  • AMazing movie

  • yes he was naughty

  • I was watching the Nick Cage Bad Lieutenant today, it was blasphemy compared to this classsic. I remember watching the original when it came out feeling like I just watched a movie that meant something. The new Bad Lieutenant had nothing to it, shallow and cheap.

  • "I'mma Catholic " The Most don't give an F Charecter I've seen . .."I'm NOT SOME ASSHOLE!!!! IMMA FUCKINN-COP!"

  • Reyes from NJ. I served with him in the USMC. He was a great Marine squad leader, but he was just like the Bad Lieutenant. I miss you, you crazy S.O.B

  • Just saw the version Herzog directed with Cage and I have to try and be as fair as possible. That crap that Herzog put out was horrible. The movie had no depth was badly written, and Cage as well as others were horrible in their acting. There is no way in the world you can compare these two films. Ferrera did a much better job directing and Keitel was awesome.

  • I'm gonna smoke some crack!!!

  • What makes me sick is Herzog said "Who the hell is Abel Ferrera? I've never even heard of him or his little movie" Fucking bastard. Herzog couldn't fucking depict emotion through a single film while Ferrera let's the film direct itself and let's the actors actually act. Look how much emotion is through each scene of his films...Driller Killer, Ms. 45, Bad Lieutenant, King Of New York, all should have won some type of awards.

  • Love that shit white boy.

  • It would be cool to make a trailer of it using the "Schooly D" soundtrack that was banned after Jimmy Page sued him for using "Kashmir" as it's basis.

  • @cinemavirtualis it's funny he had a problem with Schooly D, but P.Shitty was welcome with open arms to use it, wtf?!?

  • chuckgutt, the singer is Johnny Ace and the song is Pledging My Love.

  • who sings this song? or the title

  • Who sings this song? Please can someone tell me!!

  • Poor Zoe Lund.

She co-wrote the movie and starred as the girl who shoots heroin with Harvey.

She died of a coke overdose in real life.

    R.I.P. Zoe.

  • This film is amazing. The Nicholas Cage remake should have been banned

  • @DERBYSHIRELOYAL I"m with you all the way on that, what the fuck gives Cage the right to do that?!?! That's like somebody remaking Taxi Driver, you know what I mean?!?

  • @DERBYSHIRELOYAL Hard to believe people are still so uninformed that they think the Herzog movie was a remake...

Even harder to believe 22 other people are equally uninformed.

  • @EvilOak27 I f you are so informed, then what is it? A sequel? Because that's what I assumed it was....

  • @eraserheadtoker It's a completely different story, different characters, and different location.

It has Bad Lieutenant in the title and both movies have detectives hooked on drugs but other than that the movies aren't the same.

I liked both. The Herzog movie had more humor and wasn't as depressing but both are totally worth seeing IMO.

  • @EvilOak27 I think you can think of some more similarities than that.

  • @DERBYSHIRELOYAL Really? There is giong to be a remake with Nicholas Cage? F#ck Hollywood and Nicholas Cage.

What is next a Taxi driver remake?

  • @aqinthe FUCK HOLLYWOOD!!!!!!! And by the way, it's already out on dvd, go out and watch it, it's actually not that bad. Nothing like the Abel Ferrrara film, not even fucking close, but still pretty good.

  • @eraserheadtoker If it went straight to DVD it must not be that good. But I will check it out before I pass judgment.

  • @aqinthe (gasp) prob dude. They'll get Brett Ratner to direct too just to rub it in

  • @jamesbluntslunts I hate nick Cage and that he was in the remake makes me hate him anymore. On a differnet topic I saw you'r channel and the Wire = best show ever.

  • @DERBYSHIRELOYAL All Nicholas Cage movies should be banned

  • This movie is one of the most underrated comedies ever.

  • Score !

  • Every time this movie comes on I watch it. One of a kind.

  • performance of a life time; Keitel is so intense...

  • Great movie!!!

  • Excellent!!

  • This is the most Catholic movie after Passion of the Christ and Song of Bernadette.

It's like Oscar Wilde said. "The Catholic Church is for saints and sinners. For respectable people there's the Church of England." ;-)

  • This was a deep film....i remember seeing this 4 tha first time and actually almost got a lil emotional myself....its definately not 4 tha weak of heart...this a film that captures all audiences...of all kind its ranked 10 outta 10 in my book the best movie hands DOWN!!! peace...

  • I remember when i first watched this film. I left the cinema feeling totaly blown away. I couldn`t stop thinking about it for days even weeks. This is a true classic, (difficult to watch at times but true life is like that anyway) in which Harvey`s performance is simply outstanding.

  • God bless the bad lieutenant.

  • congratulaction, great wideo!

  • my top 5 fav films..this one is special classic.. even inspires me to use it for userIDs,ebay, space etc but, i add wife to the title ending..thank you for for this! love it!

  • great movie and beautiful song!

  • One of the best movies ever...

  • Harvey is the fucking man and i heard one of the bitches in the car was his daughter.

  • His real life daughter Stella played his daughter in the movie. She was like 6 or 7 at the time.

  • Great video! Really captures The Lieutenant's character and the feel of the movie.

  • I hear they are making this movie again with Nicholas Cage. Should be a watered down shitfest. I hate when they do this to a brilliant movie.

  • dam that wud suck

i heard they making a new story or sum shit

  • Xzibit is in it.. apparently. Why does the Bad Lieutenant get 30 g off that latino family? do they owe him it or is it jsut a loan?

  • it's supposed to be loosely based. apparently the announcement pissed a lot of people off who are fans of ferrara's

  • It's drug money. The young guy in this scene is the drug dealer that the Lieutenant "chased" up the stairs earlier in the movie. The guy he said "what are you, a drug counselor?" to. The Lieutenant fronted him a big sack of coke and the kid said he'd have his money in a few days.

  • i love how the harvey keitels character is also a religious person and hes not all bad like it seems...this movie really took me places and it is abel ferrara's masterpiece

  • Did harvey do this movie before or after resevoir dogs.?

  • ah this song appears too in the movie mean streets were he works with robert de niro

  • Aaargh, there's just so many great moments and lines in this film! I love the scene where, after losing and now owing the bookie $60,000, he goes to the club specifically to meet the bookie's intermediary, arrives late, and responds to the intermediary's opening question "You got the money?" with a straight faced "What money?" Brilliant, brilliant line.

  • The Bad Lieutenant is the dirtiest character ever portrayed on screen.Find someone else whos crazier then him.Cant do it can ya?Keitel=GENIOUS

  • This film takes you to places in yourself that you try and avoid. Very few films can do that.

Just how Harvey never got an Oscar for this performance, I`ll never know.

  • he totally deserved one

  • I have this on DVD. When I watched it on cable years ago, I remember him being way more derogatory toward Daryl Strawberry. It seems some dialogue had be edited on the DVD. Does anyone know if this is true?

  • there is an original nc17 and an 'r' edited dvd version

  • @stratman123 i know he says fuckin nigga, when they aired it on tv i think thats bout the only derogatory thing he says bout strawberry

  • A deeply disturbing movie, totally compelling, a must see.

  • Dirtiest Guy EVER!!!

  • An amazing amazing work.

  • Man that was bad, "You ever suck a guy's cock?"

"You suck it the fuck up!" It was kinda funny but so fuckin evil. Only Harvey could pull it off though.

  • Oh, he "pulled it off" alright! Right onto the car door!

  • one of my fave films

  • Travis Bickle would have straightened his punk ass out!

  • you mean Henry Krinkle???

  • Yeah! "You talkin' to me?"

  • The Bad Liuetenant would totally destroy Bickle. Then smoke some rock.

  • He'd have to shoot him at least six times!

    "You don't know Irisssssss?

    "No, I don't know Irissssssss!"

  • tight movie

  • Good film. Awesome video.

  • I wish the clip had the best movie quote in it:

Harvey Keitel at the club with the bookie:

    I've been dodging bullets since I was 14, Nobody can kill me... I blessed ... ... ... I'm a $u%king Catholic!!!

If I could hang out with a star for a whole day it would be him.

  • it´s been a long time, i´ve watched this movie! on november 22nd the film is going to be shown in a very small PROGRAMM-KINO in wiesbaden......... i´m about to watch this film for the 40th time........ but this time with my girlfriend! LOL........

  • excellent film

  • Man, Abel Ferrara is a brilliant director. He made some bad movies, like the cheesy 80's flick The Gladiator and China Girl is not good either. But films like The Funeral, The Blackout, King of New York, The Addiction and ofcourse Bad Lieutenant are VINTAGE CINEMA. Scorsese once said that Bad Lieutenant is the only movie he wished he had made. That's something..

  • eyes daniels eyes come on. ohohooooooooooohaohoaha!!!,,you rat fucker rat fuck!!!!!!!!!!

  • the zep rap is schoolly d

    'signifying rapper'

on the album 'smoke some kill'

abel loves schoolly and always has a tune in each of his early flix

  • Harvey Keitel's best performance in my opinion!! The song fits perfectly, great tribute to a great film!!

  • Best movie ever!!!

    About sin, forgivness and redemption...

  • Very good work..

That scene of Keitel with the two girls is really sad and disturbing.

  • which one?

  • Not the car one, but the junkies, at 1:25.

  • i would love to find the music that is the rap-gangster version of Led Zep's Kashmir

  • I was at the game today - face to fucking face with Strawberry. Keitel's apogee. Certainly.

  • It is like watching a car wreck happen again and again and again. It's up to you if that's what you want to see. But anyone nastalgic for the 80's mets and a fictional series against the dodger, than that might help.

  • The music is beautiful, the movie looks interesting and sad.
