Beautiful dog! I grew up with two German Shepherds and I miss them terribly (our family has a Maltese now-cute, but not quite the same level of companionship). Great job catching the dignity yet ("personableness"?)playfulness that sets this breed apart!
Of course, everybody likes his dog and considers it the most beautiful, but I never saw one of these old, origianal style, who came close, not in books, TV or internet.
