  • I am impressed

  • AMAZING I TOTALLY LOVE YOUR WORK!

  • I just love this mashup! Can't help playing it again and again ....

  • respect, you did a real fucking good job throwing blondie in there. I feel most mash-ups fail because they speed or slow the tempo of one of the songs too much, but this is just so well done.

  • i thought your counterpoint / le roux mix was amazing but i am in awe of the imagination that would have thought to match 80's american popsters with the 90's darkest queens of shoegazing, they bizarrely complement each other so incredibly well. love it !! chalk & cheese made in heaven !!

  • Great work.

I discovered Blondie while stationed in Holland late 1970's. Been a fan forever.

This really shows her voice talent in a bright new way.

Lady Gaga just does not have the class and genes to compete with Debbie.

  • I feel so drugged now!

  • Anyone else get a raging bone when they see blondie?

  • Whoa.

  • Great job! Leaving Kayne out would've made it perfect.

  • @BroonsHouse yep..

  • Nice Mashup dude! I gonna add it to my twisted video collection. ;)

  • wow.

  • all I can say is WOW! :O

  • VS...VS....VS... Hey, you forgot the cleaning lady.

  • Genius!! I love it, what a fantastic combination! A little major minor mix up at the beginning, but totally acceptable for the work you put into this.

  • I always hated mashups, until I started listening to your work...

  • @ergoprox84 Thanks. Mashup needn't be a dirty word - there are some damn good producers out there.

  • Really great. I didn't think those songs could fit together, and that's what makes your bootleg so amazing!

  • i Love it!! :D

  • Genius!!!!

  • Job well done! Everything is perfect as is. And yes...beautifully haunting.

  • Hehe awesome.

  • lost in awe.............

no comment is necessary as any comment is unjust

    5/5

  • Not only a great mashup, but I got to compliment you on the actual video as well, I like how you modified the Heart of Glass video and made it darker

  • @sobreiro Thanks. I'm glad you appreciate the video as well as the audio mix

  • Grande

  • grandioso trabajo

  • fucking brilliant...astonished

  • fucking brilliant...astonished.

  • very nice.

  • I want to say that you should have the 'cuz nobody loves me' at about 1:25 added in.

    Awesome job.

  • When saw Kanye, I immediately thought the worst, but you used him perfectly, excellent work!

  • This has to be the VERY best mash up ever - the music has completely rebirthed the song, a classic reworked, Debbie should thank you!! The video is hauntingly magical - what a great piece of work (does it remind anyone else of Twin Peaks?)

  • @Skillusions As a Twin Peaks fan, I'll take that as a compliment of the highest order. If you like Twin Peaks and mashups, make sure you take a look at my @mashedinplastic profile for a whole album's worth of David Lynch-inspired mashups and videos

  • @Skillusions So true, LOVE Twin Peaks. Scared the shit out of me when I was a kid.

  • Tremendous man... well done! Makes me realise I'm just messing around with my mashup efforts!

  • @JofJack Cheers - we're all just messing around really. You're not doing badly yourself - I like your La Roux mash

  • oh ... my .... ! Spechless, that's a fuckamazing job dude !

  • excellent!

  • Without a doubt the best mashup I've ever heard. Pure genius.

  • amazing....................................

  • very good thinking, but for me something wrong. Maybe its that blondeie cant sing in comparison with beth.

  • Great mix! What's the point of the thumbs down option anyway on people's comments? They don't do or change anything. Fuck new YouTube.

  • Excellent work, dude!

  • still don't know how you grab Debbie's vox off the song - or how someone gets the individual vocal track but the results are quite stunning- very creative-

an art form all to itself

  • Brilliant work my friend....very clever...!!!!

Both video and mix are classy, 5/5 easily

  • Wow!! Great Job!!!

  • That was really good even with KW rearing his ugly head.

  • Excellent! couldn't see where K.W was going to fit in but a brialliant job, well done

  • wow amazing song

but I think the video makes it that much better

    Great job :)

  • Thanks for the great comments. I really enjoyed making this video for the track - I think it works really well too (but I am biased).

  • @gavdget Thankfully the KW wasn't overdone. It was a nice touch ;) subbed

  • Blondie's gorgeous melodies merged smoothly with a slick, dreamlike backdrop. Where in the name of creation did you locate Debbie Harry's vocal track?! I would give anything to hear them alone. They are, after all, the most beautiful lyrics ever sung...

  • Thanks. There are a few Blondie vocal tracks floating around if you know where to look. Acapellas4U is a good place to start.

  • Sounds like a james bond song.

  • That's Trip Hop!!

  • This works really well.

  • So haunting, so beautiful. Awesome job!

  • Carino...

    @Beppe

  • Pure BRILLIANCE!! I LOVE THIS!!!!

  • Extraordinary mashup..im a big Portishead & Kanye West fan.Dummy and 808s & Heartbreak are two of the better produced albums i've ever heard.

  • love it!!! im a huge blondie fan and this mashup is very well done.
