i was once taught by andy and on a regular basis his wife lol its an amazing martial art andy is from hull in the uk where im from i still have the original training t-shirt lol from 2000 and graham andys friend who teaches in hull now says hes an awesome guy to be around i only remember being handed my orange belt by him also to. clearcombat it has alsorts it has a large influence from thai boxing which is knees and elbows there is loads of different way to do one thing.
I have seen over 2 dozen vids on KFM and this system lacks knees for the inside.
The most painful strike from the inside is a knee lift several times to the groin. Also, what about a greco/roman toss or a judo throw after the strikes. I think JKD and Krav Maga is more complete.
@clearcombat 1. A lot of KFM videos on youtube are put on for publicity, where a lot of the fancier moves are put on, to draw new people to the art, but I do think think grappling and kneeing are in the art (some of the other Batman training vids feature them. 2. If I were a KFM practitioner, or even from another MA, I wouldn't want to grapple as much as I can, in a real fight, because a real fight is rarely one on one, and if the opponent has a bladed weapon, that's not such a good idea.
@clearcombat That, and if the other guy is trained as well, size and speed become huge determinants of who wins the fight ---- even if I were strong enough to lift someone 2x my size and throw him, I would prefer not to, because, while I'm lifting him, my hands are tied, and if his buddies hit me then, I'm screwed. Also, it would tire me out easily to do so. Would rather pop his knees or elbow him in the collar bones or larynx.
@VorpalDrake Yeah you make some good points m8, but don't forget if you can't avoid the fight totally in the first place the best thing to do is tell him you don't want any trouble and then punch him in the mouth as hard as you possibly can. ESPECIALLY if you are outnumbered
@Rapist87 Dude... why is ur name Rapist? and ur trying to give friendly combat advice to ppl lol... sounds like ur the protagonist.. looking for little girls to bum rape lmao
Good video, nice what he said about everything especially Heath Ledger, I agree with him about the Joker thing aswell.
Jack Nicholson is a brilliant joker but Heath Ledger is the best =)
