Sorry to hate on Tiesto here but he is outclassed by todays standards, heck our tracks have more technical accomplishment, he needs to stick to what he does best and that is not house music.

There is no pump here, it's a weak slog of drainy synth lines... which suck all the colour out like a black and white painting... no change ups, no pace switching, just the same repeating (boring) bassline all the way through.

Tiesto cannot hold credibility to the newer artists, as sad as it is to say.

This remix of the island is really sexy, but those comparing it to Madeons' remix should note that both of these remixes have a completely different feel and purpose.

Tiestos feels strong and a little dark, more downtempo and trance-like

Madeons feels like French electronic funk and disco, makes me want to dance.

A very good song like the one's pendulum compose, doesn't need lot's of editing to make a good remix, that's why I like this mix, there are little changes that bring a different electro-perspective of the song.
