Franky's in my opinion the most underestimated SH crewmember. There seems to be alot of people who think there's a huge gap between Luffy, Zoro and Sanji and the rest of the crew, but I think Franky's actually quite close to Sanji. (Just look at the very last chapter as of writing (657) Where Sanji was kicking at that big door and just making a dent and Franky just blew the door up.

I do think Sanji's speed makes him the overall better fighter of the two, but Franky's actually close I think.

In fact I'd say we haven't actually fully seen what Franky can do one on one. Fukuro was probably his best fight, which was alot like the Luffy/Hody fight. Fukuro threw all he had at Franky when Franky was out of juice and he still had trouble. Once Franky powered up Fukuro switched to a terrain that suited his abilities better to make up for his weakness relative to Franky. (And like Hody still lost of course.)

We haven't actually seen Franky vs. an equal one on one yet.
