she is skilled at judo, but not sure how you could think her capable of beating up a normal man. Judo is a skill, but on it's own, not much use in real fight situation. If you can punch, and take a punch then judo can be very useful when both on ground

Judo is not much use in a real fight? Pal, come fight me and I show how concrete taste like. Judo can be used for self-defense more effectively than say karate. Brazilian JJ is actually a type of judo.

More or less if we are talking pure judo, but it can also be about controlling the person on the ground and distabilising someone. In a street fight you'll mix judo with say kickboxing/ boxing/brawling and this my friend is as lethal as it get. If you slam someone on the ground hard (judo) and start punching the living shit out of him (ape style requiring no skill), the fight is basically over.
