Angela is the perfect Adina: her beauty, voice and acting skills are perfect for this role. This DVD is a delightful production where Angela shines opposite her husband. I find Simone Alaimo the best Dulcamara i've ever heard...he has a great ability with comic timing and i find he sings this role incredibly well.

U have to see her singing traviata , or Boccanegra...i was stunning when i saw her. A real diva, even if shes doesnt sound that great on video or audio.

No matter how good Angela sounds on recordings - it truly is nothing compared to the beauty of her voice in person. The one time I was blessed with the opportunity to hear her in person, I was blown away that someone who already sounded so good, could sound so much better! Wow.

You are so lucky, Labohemy, to have heard her in a live performance. Unfortunately, she hasn't yet sung in my country. However, I have her both on CDs and DVDs and I ADORE her voice and acting and everything. I have her first TRAVIATA from Covent Garden and TOSCA (film) on DVD.

Dear gteloz, may be you know yhat romanian opera had in the time a lot of beautiful & talented sopran songers, begining with Haricleea Draclee. I love Virginia Zeani, but now I consider ca first romanian modern sopran singer is Angela Ghoerghiu- her performance is amaizing: quality of voice, perfect tehnic, dramatic interpretastion, exceptional power to transmit feelings to us, her pasion is shining, and all of this are complete with the beauty of her soul, face and body!
