This is honestly one of my top ten favorite songs EVER! And from the looks of the video, it looks like Dino should have gotten a special mention for background vocals. And total props to Dino and Jared for rockin' the pomp and creepers!
I LOVE this song!! I still listen to my New Monkees CD. Every single track is great. They were way underrated. I think the whole idea of them being 'Monkees' ruined them from the start. They were a fantastic band!
Is that CD still out? I'd love to find it. I also love this song & have their first album. Larry also formed a band call Tower City with T.P Weiner & Heath Saltis.
"Tower City" was great. It is odd that they never made it. Everything was lined up for them to make it but things didn't happen. Probably, the "New Monkees" tag hung over them but who really knows?
"Fifth New Monkee"??? Details, please.

Excellent album; can't help but wonder what might have happened to this group if not for the "curse of the New Monkee label".
This is a very hot song, sung by an 80's babe . . . what more do I want? *sigh*

Great song. Catchy pop tune played well. It doesn't seem the entire band is in the video though.

Love the New Monkees CD and this is my favorite track. Also love the original by John Parr.

Bad timing?! It was the bloody "NEW MONKEES" tag that doomed this "project."
kneejerker 4 years ago
I agree. If they had any tag but "New Monkees" they would have had a chance. And let's be honest here: The show was awful. But the music rocks!

The thing is.. this was a solid pop album. It was just bad timing for a talented group of guys..
