ah, one more question ^^. What are those "sticks" he uses.. looks like brushes, but its charcoal. Shouldnt charcoal be much more darker? Sorry for the bunch of questions :p
I'm wondering the same thing. It looks like a pencil extender but they are so incredibly long. I would like to try one for bigger drawings - he holds them back pretty far to make big strokes.
Very good work.And the neck is not thick,as u can see he estimates values and builds masses,he cannot be wrong.

He is using charcoal on toned paper with a kneaded eraser. :)
