I´m trying to talk with the Centuria Media or Tom G. Warrior about a permission to record a song (cover) from Celtic Frost - To Megatherion and i have not a answer. Somebody can help to talk with him?
@THRASHFKINFILLETS Is this a joke? What the fuck are you even talking about? Celtic Frost disbanded in 2008; that's over 3 years ago now! You obviously know nothing about Celtic Frost and never even listened to the band.
As much as i love Celtic Frost he seems so much HAPPIER to be in this band and not in CF. From other interviews ive watched and material ive read there were alot of really bad things that happend during the CF days as far as the music industry is concerned and with other band mates. Its nice to see Tom G in a slightly less negative state and from what ive heard of this new group he's in they KILL it. Atleast he ended CF with Monotheist!
@joe2131 Yes that's true Tom had a very difficult time during the work with CF(a.k.a what lended "Cold Lake" forth I think) the differences between the bandmates nearly shattered the band. There was even someone who tried to claim he personally concieved the sound of Tom's previous project and even market it on the mainstream scene. He felt very frustrated back then and this eventually inflicted him some damage emotionally. Now he is finally able to do his own thing without being distracted
@crapass666 Good to know. Damn, I just finished listening to Eparistera... Gotta be one of the heaviest albums I've heard, since I don't listen much of the Norwegian black metal bands..
@pbs924 "Don't panic, we'll never wimp out"...[Tom G. Warrior quote printed on the back cover sleeve of the 'Morbid Tales' LP]. I'll never forget that. 'Cold Lake' anyone?
Wow, you can see Tom is finally happy in this interview! I think it was a good decision to go with Tryptikon and I bet the new album is the best work he's ever done! Can't wait to see them live in the States, hopefully soon!!!
Just got the album the other day, if you thought Monotheist was heavy you're gonna love Triptykon. Tom's got a good thing going here and I think him and Triptykon are just going to keep moving forward, no looking back sorry Martin!
I love this guy even though he's beyond taking himself seriously....triptykon is sounding incredible after 3 listens. keep it coming tom g!!! get back to the states!
i followed tom on his blog... it really took me a lot of patience to wait for this album.... now I´m so happy tom to hold it in my hands now...thank you so much for this work!
@Metallikid1 The song in the background is "Goetia." It's the first track on the album. It's great! If anything, buy the album, if only for this great fuckin' song!
@MasterKrispy01 I bought the album on iTunes the day it came out, along with a couple of some celtic frost songs (circle of the tyrants, visions of immortality, and a dying god coming into human flesh). im kinda new to them, but i love their material! the triptykon album was infuckingcredible!!!! i cant wait to get more stuff from tom g. warrior!!!!!!!
@Metallikid1 Welcome to the first day of the rest of your awesome life! I'm glad you could get into the Frost and Triptykon. If you can't wait to get more Tom Warrior stuff, try getting the Hellhammer compilation "Demon Entrails" and Frost's "To Mega Therion." Also, if you love the Triptykon album, get Frost's "Monotheist." I promise you won't be disappointed!
