However, there is no comparason to the over all quality of Rock music in the 70's and now. It is like a bell curve. Slowly through the 50's, 60's building to the peak 70's and then gradually declining through the 80's, 90's and so on. Meanwhile quality RAP grew while quality Rock declined. (I hate RAP personaly)

Now we wait for a new revolution of sound to hit. When that will happen I have no Idea.

I was there I do not have to imagine, it true. Most music today is horrible, and the descent songs you hear are terrible re-makes. I think there are two big difference. The bands or groups no longer write their own music. Also, some supposed experts say hey they are cutesy and they put them together. It's totally manufactured and the creativity is lost.
