I will say this..I love boxing and chess..and do both..but...the most dangeours men in history...napolean, ceaser, hitler...had minds more like a chess player hten a boxer..actually napolean even played chess..was pretty good at it.

I agree, I used to fight in the ring and had some very hard fights but a very respectable record. However nothing cuts as deep as defeat in Chess. I was beaten a couple of times by a Phd Astrophysicist at University. Both occasions he destroyed my game from a perceived position of weakness! I still think about it bitterly nearly 20 years later!
