People tend to be dismissive of Yoko, and although as a Beatles fan I cannot help but feel she played some part in McCartney and Lennon drifting apart from each other, I am happy that John was able to gain some semblance of peace from her. I read that George approached John and Paul with this song, a little apprehensive that his writing capabilities were not in par with them. I think at that point other artists had done it and were blown away. George, being the shy and reserved one did not want to stir the waters. Generations later we are all the more better. He was such an amazing songwriter and deep and thoughtful individual. But there was a mystery to him that in this day of tweeting, would he have survived in these times?

He was glad when she went with Eric, "Because he could give her the life she grown accustomed." Sometimes when you're famous its easier to cheat than go through a messy divorce. George with everyone woman he could...Pattie just couldn't take a hint.

And I believe that Pattie was not the ONE George had his heart set on. And doing some digging I found out he pursued Joey Heatherton while dating Pattie. His love wasn't that strong for Pattie, being swayed by Joey..SOMETHING IN THE WAY JOEY HEATHERTON MOVED!

Guy translation: The song is about another woman, but I can't say because I'm married to Pattie. Later George said time and again...NOT about Pattie. The thing people don't realize George was already pulling away from Pattie and the marriage. I know this may be hard for people to grasp, but the way he treated her, I suspect he really wasn't that into her .
