Plural...what happens to the fathers will happen to the sons/children. It's another way of saying, "history repeats itself", because it does. There are patterns and cycles all throughout Scripture and it is the honor of kings to search them out.

to the laughing guy. you are entitled to your opinion sir/madam but when they devised the calender the gregorian one they made errors all you gotta do is use mathematics. this is why they have a leap year due to the earlier people making a mistake and teh calender is off by 10 years so 2012 would be about 10yearslater.thatsall i have the date and time of this. mayans predict the solstice 21december 2012 and has people in a panic. don't worry though. thank you for your opinion.

If you read the scriptures, you will clearly see it says that ISRAEL are the Chosen people. Yes Israel are Hebrews, but so are Arabs, and Edomites. The latter 2 are not chosen though. Israel is not one colour. Israel was mixing out for many generations so look like anyone and everyone. To be Israel by blood, you need to have paternal linage all the way back to Jacob.
