  • When I imagine find gold in the desert this isn't the place I imagine.

  • Thanks for the Great comments. We would love to be in Australia for a while to find some big Nuggets. Jeff

  • Nice Vid blokes, its hard yakka in the desert but the gold makes it

    all worth while.

Like your Trommel setup, that would come in very handy out here

in Western Australia, make a change from swinging the detector

    on a day off..

  • you look like one of the prospectors from the old west cowboy days lol

  • I'd rather hard rock mine in quartz veins because theres more gold and larger nuggets in those veins.

  • What's a good source for learning about detecting/prospecting law in AZ? I don't want to intrude on a claim etc.

  • see that black silt sand, thats silver in that pan if theres no black theres no gold, plus gold is also found in white cristal, but beleave it or not gold can be found almost anyplace on earth but the desert is the easyest to find most of the time the nuggots are just laying on top of the ground use a metal detector,

  • theres a easyer way why not use a gasline powered jack hammer or rent a trencher loosen the dirt up come back the next day and dig, most people get so excited when thay find a gold nuggot thay just move on when there more in the same area,

  • wow cool video must be very heavy work digging in the sun

i' m new in prospecting do you look through that pile of dirt which comes out of your sluice ?

    greatings from Germany

  • @GoldMinerGE Thanks, Yes we sample the waste pile for lost gold. Jeff

  • Great Video!!!!!! Great gold!!! Im new at prospecting.what signs made him look for gold there?

  • @21cglock A lot of sampling of material in the area.

  • @ghosttownhunter Thanks for your response... I've been sampling some desert/mountain dirt at one of my properties. Nothing yet... Im close, i can feel it.but i found some micro at my other property at Hopewell lake. Old gold mining mills there with plenty of tailings and a small stream. Up side to all the sampling is i stumbled onto a cash of schist with Garnets. Ive also found mica and staurolites. Happy hunting...

  • Enjoyed watching. Thanks!
