  • his radio shows are genius...i think crossing over to TV would not be the same. at least 90% of TV audience would expect James Corden or Rob Brydon to appear , oh lordy !!

  • cunt arthur strong is so fanny

sorry obviously i meant count is funny

i'm always getting my worms missed up

    errr words messed up

  • Funnier on radio than on film...

  • Like but the CD comes across even better ....

  • Oh my God, listened to this for the twentieth time tonight and cried with laughter yet again - absolutely brilliant

  • Seeing him tonight in Harrogate :)

  • Caught the current tour in Wimborne (Dorset) a few weeks ago - you'll love it!

Bet you buy a signed sausage ;p

  • it wipes the floor with ALL comedy shows ever,i've never laughed at anything more than the count . steve delaney is a comic genius.

  • So, so, so underrated. Laughing along to Count Arthur Strong's Radio Show has been the highlight of many a night in for me. Steve Delaney definitely deserves a TV show with this, it wipes the floor with most of the crap we have to put up with for entertainment.

  • I did' nt fight two world wars..........

  • He's like a breath of fresh air in these days of so called comedy. Please let us see him with a TV show. I caught piddler on the roof on radio 4. Please give us a repeat it was a great show. Steve

  • i recently saw count arthur at the riverside studios in london, i was incenced to find the person sitting next to me had only paid £10 to see him when i had paid £112.00!!!( mind you i am including the train fare from blackpool)

  • @sunbeam11 Do you never repeat things back to yourself after having a laugh? Comedy has a massive social aspect, hence the sharing. Stop being silly!

  • @neiltay2002 No I don't,talking to yourself can get you sectioned. Comedy can be enjoyed one man in front of a radio as well as in a crowd at a live show. You don't however need the social validation of a herd, that's the thinking of the idiots who add laughter tracks to studio comedies. Repeating back lines is the way of the nerds who used to spew out the Dead Parrot sketch at parties. It's especially 'silly' on a Youtube page when you've has already heard the expert say it better.

  • @sunbeam11 Too much effort, mate. You're the snobbish death of anything half-interesting.

  • @neiltay2002 Don't be an ass neil, obviously you ARE one of those people who think quoting comedians' scripts makes you interesting. It doesn't. Too much effort? Maybe for you, but I find stringing words together quite easy. I'm not snobbish, I just get irritated by donkeys.

  • @sunbeam11 If you want a debate I'm more than happy to have one. Only not here.

  • Cris

    God its hot!

Laughed until I fried, I mean died no cried, oh I don't care.

  • Comedy genius I have almost crashed my car laughing along with his radio show.

  • Count Arthur Strong is waiting in the wings for word of mouth to gather momentum, and then he will transfer to BBC two with a small cast - like Harry Worth, Hilda Baker and Tony Hancock. Then you guys can say you discovered him.

    Well done!!

That it my opinion anyway, but I will re-read my comments to see if I concur with what it is I am saying.

    I know musicals, me.

ANUNTY MARY HAD A CANARY UP THE LEG OF HER DRAWS

  • "Strip that Bren!!" Haha! Remember me ? It's your old pal from Egypt; Ernie(Plunger)Woods. Wonderful to hear you're doing so well for yourself, looking forward to seeing you at the reunion; don't forget the 10 bob this time!

  • Classic comedy!

Every one of Count Arthur Strong's shows is a winner.

    Thanks for posting

  • Bravo. Long live count Arthur

  • I recently read a review by a *person of the female gender*, erroneously suggesting that Count Arthur's

fan base was almost entirely male!? I think the word "Northern" may also have been mentioned? Stuff and nonesense!! All my most intimate acquaintances are

Count Arthur devotees.... regardless of chromosomes,

    or geographical location!

  • How can all his fans be northern when he sells out his shows in brighton , critics are spanners

    Comedy genius

  • Ace. A fantastic mix of John Shuttleworth, Barry From Watford, Harry Hill with a lovely nod to the past. I love it.

  • Count Arthur is peerless(if you forgive the pun)..A class of his own entirly.

  • superb!
