his radio shows are genius...i think crossing over to TV would not be the same. at least 90% of TV audience would expect James Corden or Rob Brydon to appear , oh lordy !!
So, so, so underrated. Laughing along to Count Arthur Strong's Radio Show has been the highlight of many a night in for me. Steve Delaney definitely deserves a TV show with this, it wipes the floor with most of the crap we have to put up with for entertainment.
He's like a breath of fresh air in these days of so called comedy. Please let us see him with a TV show. I caught piddler on the roof on radio 4. Please give us a repeat it was a great show. Steve
i recently saw count arthur at the riverside studios in london, i was incenced to find the person sitting next to me had only paid £10 to see him when i had paid £112.00!!!( mind you i am including the train fare from blackpool)

Why do all you people repeat bits of the script? We already know it's funny, it doesn't get any better if you parrot it. I remember all those lunkheads who used to quote Monty Python scripts verbatim. God they were dull. Arthur is Hilda Baker btw
@neiltay2002 No I don't,talking to yourself can get you sectioned. Comedy can be enjoyed one man in front of a radio as well as in a crowd at a live show. You don't however need the social validation of a herd, that's the thinking of the idiots who add laughter tracks to studio comedies. Repeating back lines is the way of the nerds who used to spew out the Dead Parrot sketch at parties. It's especially 'silly' on a Youtube page when you've has already heard the expert say it better.
@neiltay2002 Don't be an ass neil, obviously you ARE one of those people who think quoting comedians' scripts makes you interesting. It doesn't. Too much effort? Maybe for you, but I find stringing words together quite easy. I'm not snobbish, I just get irritated by donkeys.
Count Arthur Strong is waiting in the wings for word of mouth to gather momentum, and then he will transfer to BBC two with a small cast - like Harry Worth, Hilda Baker and Tony Hancock. Then you guys can say you discovered him.
Well done!!
That it my opinion anyway, but I will re-read my comments to see if I concur with what it is I am saying.
"Strip that Bren!!" Haha! Remember me ? It's your old pal from Egypt; Ernie(Plunger)Woods. Wonderful to hear you're doing so well for yourself, looking forward to seeing you at the reunion; don't forget the 10 bob this time!
I recently read a review by a *person of the female gender*, erroneously suggesting that Count Arthur's
fan base was almost entirely male!? I think the word "Northern" may also have been mentioned? Stuff and nonesense!! All my most intimate acquaintances are
Count Arthur devotees.... regardless of chromosomes,

@sunbeam11 Do you never repeat things back to yourself after having a laugh? Comedy has a massive social aspect, hence the sharing. Stop being silly!
