  • That was really cool. Good luck on getting your Man Cave!

  • Certificates on the wall, a little patriotic flag in the background as he plays thrash at his desk. Beats working, I suppose. lol

  • the part starting at 00:23, my favorite, but those are all heavy riffs!

  • @ThrashMetalAJM def the fuck not, mids sound like complete shit, dude you dont know your shit, boogies arent ment for mids, and well good amps in general sounds like shit when you have mids cranked...... buy a dual rectifier, krank the mids and then tell me.... does it really sound good???

  • good jammin dude, you look so stonerish, and i love yur office, it looks so thrashy, lol

  • nice riffs

  • @synthpathetic Thanks. I can see that :)

  • @beyonddrivencvc He he. That's what happens when a metal head gets married and wife takes over his room. But I'm getting it redone into a studio/mans cave this year.

  • @220volt74 Hell Yeah Keep rockin man ! MAN CAVE!!!!!

  • are those all downstrokes? not the really fast ones of course but what about the first riff you play?? congrats nice tone

  • @elmonorizzo Thanks. Yep all down strokes at the beginning.

  • :)))) Nice!

  • how you do to get that tone? i can do pinch harmonics.... but not like you

    awsome job!

  • @sonnic1995 I model it on my GNX3000. I've used a dual rectifier amp model and tweaked it little bit. Then I ran it into my audio interface Profire 610 and straight into PC. No actual amp used. Thanks for the comments.

  • Can I use some of these riffs, man?

  • @chriswbn Sure. Riff away :)

  • where's painkiller?

  • i bet he was a mega thrash metal headbanger headbangin in concerts of exodus kreator annihilator megadeth and had a lot bands 20 years ago.. sry for bad englisch

    hha you rock!

  • @heavymedlarruti666 Ha ha thanks for commends dude. But 20 Years ago? Do I really look that old? lol

  • @220volt74 im sure he was referring to the 80s Metal scene :P

  • Dude I love the intro riff, could you send me a tab of it?

  • @Shreddinkevin93 Sorry, but I have no tab. Played it by ear. But you should be able to just watch the video i pick it up. It;s not hard.

  • Dude your riffs are killer!!!!!!!!

  • this all sounds like exodus to me lol

  • yeah

  • The first riff, what band is? sorry mi english is not good :D

  • @Navicom666 I just made it up. It does sounds like some old school thrash band riff, but I made it up.

  • @220volt74 Sounds like some Painkiller to me =D

  • @220volt74

As others have pointed out, it sounds very similer to Painkiller to Judas Priest :p

  • @UnevenElefant5 Which is my favorite band :) Thanks!

  • @220volt74

    Mine too :)

  • Man you rock! \m/

  • sounds a lot like exodus

  • and like i see you are playing on standart E and A strings ye?

  • yes

  • all thrash is playing on standart? ( i mean not only yours)

  • @kaipbabos Most of the thrash is in standard tuning. Some tune down half or full step, but it;s still standard tuning.

  • @220volt74 some bands like annihilator use drop d sometimes

  • what kind of tuning you use here?

  • @kaipbabos Standard but tuned down full step.

  • @220volt74

so you play in Eb standard, right?

  • @CypherThanatos It;s standard D. Tuned down full step.

  • How did you get the sound so clear? Did you record directly into your computer?

  • @jdizzleh3 It was recorded through GNX3000 effect pedal. It has USB on board so you plug your guitar into the pedal and pedal via USB to PC.

  • man thats pretty awsome

  • something tells me u likes Judas Priest , greetings!

  • @mateusz1945 That something told you right :)

    My fav band.

  • lol the music just doesnt fit with the picture xDDD

    good playing tho

  • This guy is obviously a metalurgist..but yeah,i hear you, when your talking thrash,a Gibson is not a very good look. These type of thrash rifts MUST be played with a Jackson,Charvel,Esp or even Kramer.

  • @smashingpoop hahaha i was just thinking the same thing!!!

  • This fucking rocks. Thrash metal rules.

  • How to train galloping skills? just develop my accuracy and speed will grow?

  • You start very very slow with metronome. And then increase speed only when you can play smooth at current level.

  • Mr. ... You fucking rock!

  • I could never get my triplets that fast. I hate you. =D Seriously awesome riffs!

  • i like it

  • BADASS!......i can sense a bit of a testament influence am i right?

  • @BBABHcoty Yep. Testament's definitely there. Thanks

  • I really like that sound.

  • Pretty nice thrash sound. I like standard D too.

  • Thats pretty awesome man!

  • hey man; this pedalboard the gnx 3000.

is easy to use or is complicated , thanks

  • It's not hard if you used similar pedals before.

  • Its promise to see that its not just us pissed of teenagers who are into thrash too :D

    Good job man!

  • this sounds more groove than thrash :/

  • i disagree it does not stray from te thrashy sound, at all its pretty damn thrashy with the galoping and sweet bends, id incorporate some pinchies but good job man

  • Thanks :)

  • I deem D# ( e flat) and E standard the best tunnings for thrash riffs

  • yep me too, all i ever write in

  • Exactly!

  • Eb is better if you want a more brutal sound, but E always works :)

  • no matter what negative post gets here. I am going to be positive. This dude plays good.

  • lmao ur right bre4dfish

  • sikk riffs i like 0:31 onwards :D

  • Comment removed

  • those riffs would sound a lot better in standard tuning or if yo want to keep the tuning low, Rb would also sound good. D is just too low, it strays away from the thrash sound.

  • i agree aswell.

  • where is your dual rectifier? Also, that is not typical sound of rectifier

  • it depends on your mic and recording stuff... thats why it might sound different. nice playing tho

  • What is gallop? Sorry if it is a dumb question but I have no idea what gallop is.

  • where you play three notes in a row really fast triplets

  • A gallop is when you play 3 notes in 1 beat, which would be an eighth note then 2 sixteenth notes, and the reverse gallop is 2 sixteenth notes and an eighth note. It's not the same as triplets in that it's not played with the same straight timing and feel. Going from playing one eighth note to two sixteenth creates this feeling of speed and urgency, like a horse galloping or something.

  • Nice man. Where do you get tabs for that stuff? I got a GNX3000 I just bought. I have been "playing" for almost 2 years but cannot play anything like that. Any tips?

  • great work man, not really my style to play thrash but still a nice work, but got to put some more chords into a riff, well is my opinion, but still cool

  • Great tone man, and I totally agree about not having this fat of a tone when playing with a band, I learned my lesson about that, lol.

  • Just a little thrash before you head off to the golf club, aye? 5 stars

  • awesome!!!! the sound is amazing and your very precise i love it!!!! =3

  • wow,you are good =)

  • how do you achieve that sound

  • He's got a Les Paul and a Mesa Dual rec that's why the tone is so fat and awesome. And he dropped D.
