Have driven both, I4 is a decent truck but under throttle, the V6 soundtrack sells it - for a sub-30K SUV (CAD), this sounds pretty sweet.

Look at the rev counter,no diesel makes 8000rpm... This is the new 3.5 V6. Although I think that the new l4 diesel is not going to be worse. Why? It has 200bhp and about 420nm of torque. That a lot of power in the low revs-> good acceleration.
