To animate, for example, a LEGO figure swinging an arm, take a pic of the figure when its arm is in its lowest position, then rotate the arm about 5-10 degrees forwards and take another picture etc... From about 10-18 pictures you get an animation of a LEGO figure swinging its arm forwards till it reaches its highest position (arm has rotated 90 degrees). That animation should last less than a second. Don't hurry or you'll be disappointed at the resulting animation...
