While I did draw the connection between American and German eugenic programs, I was careful to note the difference between eugenics as conceived in America and what followed later. And yes, American eugenic programs lasted until the patients' rights movement in the 60's.
Nobody questions the importance of the German culture and knowledge to the world. But it by no means justify killing people just because they are thought to be inferior. Then again, see how ironic history is today the Jews impose the same suffering over the Palestinians. Human, all too human.

It is not true that eugenic laws were "immediately repealed after" WWII. They remained on the books until the 1960s and 70s.

Such an eugenicist called Dr. Paul Popenoe himself recognized, Hitlerism put eugenics "out of fashion" between 1933 and 1939.
