  • @NP4651 Jeremy Wariner is no kid. He is a fully grown man, who also happens to be one of the greatest 400 metres runners of all time. In the considered opinion of many knowledegeable track and field pundits and statisticians, only Michael Johnson ranks higher than Wariner in the pantheon of great 400 metres runners. Moreover, let us not forget that Wariner may yet go on to break Johnson's oustanding world record [43.18] which has stood since August 1999.

  • euhmm so when they start running, which pixel is jeremy ?

  • @TheMrBeastyMode

    Touche + Points for you.

  • this quality is so shitty they actually disappear a couple times during the race

  • If you ever run a 400m fast and I mean fast, sub 54, you know there are no guarantees.

(Just delete this video already it's a total loss)

  • @iMaDeMoN2012 So ...... a 400 metres time of 53.90 seconds is fast, is it? Well, it is fast for a 13-year-old, I suppose!

  • @TheEctomorph Nice troll attempt but makes look like a fuckin' retard to track athletes.

  • @iMaDeMoN2012 F**f off, you arrogant t**t. I am no retard ... and I am certainly no Internet troll either.

  • @iMaDeMoN2012

    Back to you mr. satan,

I don't know what you're smokin but you better not be talking anything 9th grade or above for 54 being "fast".......

  • @sharktrinity Fast is a relative word, sub 54 is a definitive measurement 10 seconds off the world record. It's definitely not slow. You can't walk that fast. Most HS 4x400m team would lucky to have four runners run 53 average. So you should eat your words.

  • i love HD cameras like this one!!! :D

  • @WhiteCOCOdrumS

    Touche. Points for this one-

  • you would think there would be a better quality video than this, being how epic this race was along with the 4x4 relay. tbh, been a long time since i seen him run this way, or even a race like this...still a natural talent always.

  • "And the top qualifier, the guy in the shades"

    you mean the white guy

  • was this shot with a cell phone

  • @kllyjrd

2004.... cellular technology was not up to speed yet. However I can Iphone with your misses to please your viewing standards now that it's 2011! I won't "tie up" at the end, so long as you don't filiming it!

  • i agree he is the fastest white man i have ever seen

  • @frostie1315 He is certainly the fastest white 400 metres runner in the history of track and field athletics. In fact, there are only two black athletes who have ever run the distance in a faster time than Jeremy. (Is one still allowed to use the term 'black athletes' in these days of political correctness in which we live, btw?! If not, then I apologize for my slight infringement of 'PC' boundaries.)

  • @TheEctomorph

Everything I've been told is that "black" is actually the most PC, bc there could be sensitivity calling a guy African-American when their nationality isn't Africa. Black Americans, Black Jamacians, etc.

  • @sharktrinity I can, of course, see your point ... but try telling politically correct BRITISH social workers that the word "black" is perfectly acceptable!!

  • fastest white guy i have ever seen

  • @Fredg222

This post is a year old, but what do you think of Christopher Lematire (sp??)

I think there are probably some vanilla NFLers that could run pretty good. Too bad the NFL and Track and Field don't collaborate for some kind've combine invitational. Only good things could happen in terms of benjamins with the World of Athletics meeting the NFL - where some potential "athletics" competition could be hiding/unable to challenge gold medalists :(

  • fastest white guy i have ever seen

  • Worst. Fucking. Quality.

  • @narutorox85

Three words making three sentences. Okay, I'm with that.

    Pathetic. Scrub. Sorry.

The last one is not an apology either; give you a few days to scrabble that one before I explain to you the insult in it / what you've likely been called cluelessly many a times!

  • @sharktrinity Holy shit you are the most prolific troll ever.

  • @narutorox85

You don't want the light of day shined on your sorryness, Don't engage in stupidity on my videos computer geek. Go f*** yourself; no woman ever will so might as well get acquainted. Step up to the plate and let your legs doing the chase. Probably a Steeple Chase ferrie!!!!! Suck dirt and commit suicide poon. Don't post here again.

  • @sharktrinity LOL poon. I'm not even sure what that means but it was great. A+

  • bullshit video, can't see anything

  • @helenlundeberg

Referring you to the scrub line. Read my other comments on this matter. Why waste the brain power and physical energy to throw salt. Coach of the current World Champion 400m : "The biggest scrubs always be the ones to put people down"

  • The best white sprinter of the world i think!!!!!!!

  • He makes me laugh becuz he acts like a cocky black dude! He's ok tho', lol!

  • No not really

  • yeah i can run a 30 second 400m so i guess i win yet again

  • @LPfanatic578 Yeah, and I'm married to megan fox, its imposible to run 30 Seconds around a 400, you'd have to run full speed the whole lap and run each 100 under 8 secs which is imposible, Michaels best is 43 seconds, and he has the world record. and why would you gloat on the internet?

  • @LastResistanceGamerz thats the joke idiot

  • Anyone know the name of the white nike spikes he wore?

  • @400Runna

    Those were max cats.

  • 45.39 my time im in kinderguarden i am 3 feet six inches tall.

  • and Harris is no where to be found now

  • 39.67, i am 4.5 years old; am I good?

  • @Terekada you're alright i geuss

  • 51. here senior in HS i dont see how 8th graders and freshmen are running anything under 53 , might wanna double check your times

  • @kylecrocodile1234 I know a sophomore in my school who got 49.3 lol he went to state

  • @kylecrocodile1234

There's a kid named Love who ran a 50.x last summer at the JOs he's in the 11-12 age group.

I trained an 8th grade 100-200 runner who went 52.5 in his only open 400m of the year so it's really not that uncommon for a sub 53 at an early age. Depends on the training really. Our suburb group has gone 46.1, 46.2, 46.9, 48.0, 48.2 for HS-College Sophmores since 2005 b/c we pretty much use JW's training being our coach came from Baylor so I don't doubt anything anymore.

  • @sharktrinity Any kid who is capable of running the 400m in less than 51.00 seconds BEFORE he reaches his thirteenth birthday is very talented, if not a potential world-record breaker. Having said that, I do realize that not all youngsters who produce world-class times (for their age-group) at twelve or thirteen, go on to become outstanding athletes in adult life. Some kids reach full physical maturity at a very early age ... and consequently get surpassed (in height, weight, strength and

  • @sharktrinity [Continuing on from my previous 'post' about young athletes who run the 400 in less than 51 seconds at 12 or 13 years of age]: athletic ability) by youngsters who are relatively late developers. A case in point is the former British sprinter Jane Parry. In the summer of 1975, the precocious Miss Parry returned a time of 12.5 seconds for the 100 metres sprint. At the time, she was only TEN (!) years of age. It was assumed that she would become a world-class

  • @sharktrinity [Continuing on from my previous 'posts' about young athletes who run the 400 in less than 51 seconds at 12 or 13 years of age]: sprinter as an adult (in the 1980s and 90s), but Miss Parry never managed to live up to the expectations of the athletics coaches and pundits who had predicted a golden future for her in the sport. Her personal best time for the 100 metres (as an adult athlete) was a relatively modest 11.60 - a long, long way from the upper echelons of world-class.

  • @TheEctomorph

Agree with pretty much everything you said. Potential world record holder though.... ehhh. Lots of factors down the line. Give me a guy with a Tebow hunger and a 51.5-52.5, I put them ahead of a normal hunger 50.xx at 13. I'm pretty much done putting limits on guys. Facilities, comprehensiveness of the coach as trainer AND MENTOR, family/athlete legit desire to do it at that age... think lots of talent could roll top ranked times but they don't all get raked until 10th+ grade

  • 50.43 right here. sophomore in highschool.

  • @7beks Lol 51.06 Here FRESHMAN In Highschool Going All The Way To The Olympics LETS GO!

  • @7beks

What State are you in? Coached a 50.2 sophmore in our state but cannot get him outdoor (club politics), trying to get him hooked up for college

  • @deco9987: Of all the fake comments about phenomenal fake times, yours takes the cake

  • Wariner isnt the same person now...

  • what does that mean?

  • @jailbot619 he changed his couch and look what is going on : 43,45 in 2007 , 43,90 in 2008 , 44+ in 2009...

  • @m3r1d3u5

Mental devastation when you give up the "invincible" title and conviction. Some mechanical breaking too IMO

  • @m3r1d3u5 Yes, you have a point. That said, Mr Wariner is back with his original coach - Clyde Hart - now, and it is my guess that this great athlete will recapture his vintage form in time for the 2012 American Olympic trials. I predict that he will win the 400 metres final at the US trials, in about 8 months' time. I also predict that Mr Wariner will go on to regain the Olympic title that he won, back in 2004. That would be a fabulous - and indeed unprecedented - achievement.

  • @m3r1d3u5

Everything in life is a fork in the road. Seen this 20 times over, and within the same training system. We all need to be very careful about choices we make and unexpected ways they could revisit us for better OR WORSE

  • This is some poor ass quality video!

  • @OriginalMindTrick Yes Mind tricck this is very poor quality!!!!!!!!

  • @dal4018

    Dale,

I see you're congratulating Boomhower on ability to be captain obvious. Get it over with, get quiet room, and go play Whoopie!

  • @sharktrinity What is your problem I love J.Wariner

  • @OriginalMindTrick I agree with u

  • @OriginalMindTrick

To Scrub: Find a better quality video. I don't have time to be a fanatically advanced techy.

  • @sharktrinity If you don't why would you?

I just have a problem of people uploading fake videos and videos with shit quality.

Now, this video is from 2006 which makes is a tad more understandable.

  • i run 48,37 sec. and i`m german. With this time i became the best junior runner in bavaria => i`m 17

  • wow germans suck at running...jk

  • man, shut the fuck up. nobody ives a shit on a 400m specialist on how slow your mom...., i mean "you" run!!

  • my fastest is a 52.9 so far

  • did your parents retain you when you where yong too!!

  • The people that say he's cocky must not know how much confidence it takes to win. =\

  • @amazingsinger101 Valid point. There are many sports psychologists (and coaches) who believe that a certain degree of arrogance is necessary in order to reach the very top in athletics (or in any other sport, for that matter.)

  • @TheEctomorph

This is proven in classic sociology tests. Tell kids before taking a test blue eyes are smart, brown eyes are dumb, test results will match that. This is all of life. Athletics and living a successful life; this coming from a guy who knows a little bit about the tracked arrest records of offspring of violent offenders. Lots more nature than 90 percent will credit, but even more SELF PERCEPTION within the nurture paradigm.

  • @amazingsinger101

Totally agree with you. I have met Wariner and he was very gracious and gave me advice in a very respectful way. However, I have had training partners be a part of that group and heard less than flattering things about him from some guys and former BU runners who now coach us on the prep and college level.

I see nothing wrong in his public statements. Guy believes he can win, and he NEEDS to.

  • this is shit quality.

  • fucking love the olympic

  • he has to much ego

  • They all seem to have good attitudes to me.

  • He's a go getter bitch

  • why do people keep bring up the issue that wariner is white

    I DIDNT EVEN NOTICE

  • A black dude that just so happens to be a 400m gold winner himself, utterly trained him further...so I wipe my ass with ur comments!

  • es un pie blando. Ya verá como dentro de poco un negro le quita el trono de los 400.

    Viva el black power.

    Tiene los pies de goma.

  • 2oo8 BEIJING OLYMPICS: 400M MEN;

    1.LASHAWN MERRIT(USA) 43.75

    2.JEREMY WARINER(USA) 44.74

    3.DAVID NEVILLE(USA) 44.80

    Another clean sweep, yo!!

  • Yes this was the other sweep the US men made! The other was Angelo Taylor (I for got the other 3 guys lol)

  • That's one fast cracka!!

  • LOL!!

  • UFATF should sweep the 400 at every Olympics. That distance belongs to us.

  • thanks for vid but shitiest quality

  • Yeah represent for the TAC!

  • which state has the national record of 44.9 or something? its the only one in highschool to ever be under 45. pretty sick

  • sectionalist

  • americana w00!

  • Correction now...

100- 10.01 Jeffrey Demps (World Junior Record)

  • what was this filmed with a cell phone camera?

  • 100- 10.03 Jeffrey Demps

    200- 20.62 Walter Dix

    400- 45.44 Xavier Carter

    Florida Pwns all day!!!

  • do you guys know what that song is in the very beginning.

  • in one year ill be the next best track runner

  • doubt it. lol

  • I was a Jeremy supporter, but after looking him up, he is an arrogant asshole, I will route for Lashawn. Jeremy is an great athlete, and I respect him, but dont like the arrogance

  • I have a witness! Warnier is really good, but like anyone else, I turned out to loathe him becuse of his shitty attitude! It's not neccessary. I guess 'cause he's the next US white due to be this good (1966 was the 1st time)

  • no he doesnt have a shiity atitiude he just looks like he has

  • Anyone that says in an interbiew "it's gonna be hard to beat me" without jesting about it, but a straight face, has a shitty attitude. He wouldn't be as good as he is if Michael Johnson hadn't taken the time to mold him into his clone! I've NEVER heard him gicve accolades or thanks to him either!

  • first of all he said its gonna take a lot 2 beat me,becos he is the defending champion

he has also thanked micheal johnson watch more video of him,

  • I know he's the defending champ, we all know he is. We don't need an unmotivated reminder!

  • quoting "its gona be hard to beat me" is self confidence in the work he has put in and what he knows he can do. how the fuk is that shity attitude? ur a doosh

  • you ass wipe come down to waco, he didnt start training wiht johnson till summer of '08 .you cant even really give clyde credit cuz him and the rest of baylor 400 runners came to baylor splitin high 45's 46 lows out of high school.

  • Lighten up buddy! U need a hug? (lol)

  • he is not an aragont asshole

  • Takes a humble guy to take a guy under your wing that you know is a threat at beating your world record.

  • Comment removed

  • @jesseascriven Well, it certainly takes a decent and unselfish guy to do that. All credit to Michael Johnson.

  • the baylor 400m coach tells his runners to make a left u-turn and get back as fast as possible

  • I remember watching this live. The quarter was always my fav race to run. What these guys did here was amazing.

  • luv u man!

  • he went to my high school and in 200m he got 21.11 and100m he got 10.67 he was fast and 400m he got 45.69 state record for all three

  • He is an amazing athlete no doubt, but 10.67 was the state record? Damn, I'm in Michigan and there were 3 people THIS year all faster than that, and they didn't even set the state record...

  • ya idk if those are state records, but maybe im wrong.

out here in CA, its way faster, not sure about the 100, but 200 is 20.43? by bryshon nellum last year, and 400 is 44.9 or something close to that. whats cool tho is bryshon nellum runs just a little bit faster than jeremy did in high school so maybe we'll see another olympian in the form of bryshon nellum :D go cali!

  • yea ova here in CA it was

    jahvid Best-100m: 10.32

    Bryshon Nellum-200: 20.43

    Bryshon Nellum-400: 45.38

  • ONE. TWO. THREE.

  • ta chido

  • Lance...Adrian "AllDay" Peterson, Earl, Clemens, Ryan, LaDain, Eric, Johnson just a few recents ....proof...Texans are master species.

  • it would be great to see him running 800 meters, i think he will beat the wr in beijing and then perhaps will try, this guy has got a natural speed-stamina without precedents in the history of althletics.willsee

  • i feel bad saying this but this finally gives white people hope in sprints.

  • hahahahaha

  • @bestlineever yo go check out jared connaughton he is a 100m and 200m sprinter from canada. I wikipediaed him and he runs a 10.15 100 and a 20.35 200m

  • Im black and i dont think as white people as a challenge in track

  • @heymanwhatsup96 You're an idiot. If you ran the 400 you'd get your butt handed to you by a white guy. Or if you did almost any field event, including high jump.

  • @vyzerr

Good post. Normally I stay away, but I can tell you getting white kids PARENTS to commit to track is half the battle. My girls broke the 4x400 prep record from 93' by three seconds year one we were together this past year with three juniors, all whities and the former holding coach (city) was gracious enough to send a card. Coaches AND PARENTS is part of it. Our parents/coaches will not be involved enough to send a card when another team breaks that record. Sociology plays a part

  • @heymanwhatsup96

    1) You're a fool for not taking EVERYONE as a challenge

    2) Guys like the hey, etc, etc, etc, is why people with heart can rise to the top despite being outgunned in god given gifts.

  • Thanks for this video!!! Jeremy is awesome!

  • this guy's my hero

  • Wariner is well on the way to beating the world record. He had a run where he ran the first 200m in 20 seconds, but then ran out of steam in the last 200m (though still won the race easily). Johnson's world record run was around 21.5 seconds for each 200m, so Wariner had a much faster start. If he was able to keep it up, he'd have smashed it. Bear in mind as well, his most recent World Championship win (43.48 I believe) was a PB. He's getting better.

  • jeremy wariner is the best

  • Warriner on 800 meters , would make a time at?

  • negative 17?

  • on the last 200m on a 400 meter run I think wariner run faster then johnson did.U have to remember that johnson have the world record on 200m but still wariner run on 43.60 or something and wariners best time on 200m is 20.40 or something.

  • it not that he's faster but he has a better technique. he is great at maintaining his form during the last 150 meters. he is a very strong runner.

  • he is a awesome athlete.I think jeremy wil take johnsons world record on 400m.if jeremy can run a littlebit faster on 200m,I think he wil set the world record.

  • this is an amazingly skilled athlete

  • you guys are all idiots, if your good your good. get that through your dumbass heads

  • This dude. Unbelievable in High School. He broke the high school regional record with like a 46 low also blazing in the 4x4 ,4x2, and 4x1. However, football, he wasn't the star attraction. It was Danta Hickson, who later played for Oaklahoma but was overrun by the man from Palestine, Texas Adrian Peterson. It doesn't matter what color they are, just the state they and Micheal Johnson are from. TEXAS!!!!!!!!

  • i know pads make u look big, i played football. high school is totally different from college. i know people who were good in high school but didnt have what it took to play for a good college. at the time he didnt have what they were looking for. by time he would have bulked up, it would be to late. no one wanted to invest a lot into him. its definately not discrimination, especially towards white people. i bet their lookin for white WR's.

  • Then explian the treatment of Eric Crouch, Mike Hass, Kevin Kasper, Jason Jervey ect

  • what is the point your trying to make. eric crouch was not treated unfairly. Crouch wanted to play quaterback but they said he was too short. this happens to every race. he was better suited for receiver but he got hurt. then he tried to play quaterback again but greenbay drafted somebody else, and Crouch asked to be released. he wasnt mistreated, he just got hurt and he wanted to play a position he wasnt suited for.

  • he couldnt play football because of skin color? are u serious? he is too small to play football. he has the speed but he dosent have the build. he might not have the skill. we cant play every sport we like. shit, i wanted to play B-ball but i dont have the skill. there is no race discrimination in football. where are yall getting this shit from.

  • the song is the Americana by The Offspring

  • hey do u guys know what the name of the song is in the begining.

  • Uh probably cuz he's not good enough to get a scholarship in football, just because he's fast doesn't mean he can take a hit, catch well, or cover anyone. No one is gettin g discriminated in america in terms of football lol.

  • that sucks its probably almost impossible to break a record there

  • you guys should watch the quarter and semis of the same games. he really showed his dominance also leading up to the finals. was fun to watch. I hope running gets more popular in this country.

  • shit that's amazing, the 400m is brutal

  • way kool

  • damn. white guy, only 20, taking all that. truly fast. but to get THE michael he's got a ways to go

  • But The Golden One is on his team now.

  • Yeah. Man. It is an incredible achievement. God Bless America.haha :) good stuff.

  • This guy is going to be a FORCE. He'll get faster and then he'll probably be unbeatable. But Michael had A LOT more pure speed. If Jeremy can get faster he can possibly go after the record.

  • Damn it gives me hope as a white 15 year old, to be a good 400m runner, and hes not on drugs hes thin, there is no sign he is on drugs.
