They wrote all over it saying things like "your beautiful" "we love you". At the bottom in big letters they wrote "no one could live without you" :)
My friends and I started something in my hometown where once every month or so we make ten cakes and decorate them. Then we drive around town and leave them on people's doorsteps. I don't know if anyone actually eats them, but I hope they make someones day better each time.

I thought that was very complimenting and motivates me to continue my art knowing people and I really enjoy it. Also, being told that "they have been dying to read more of my novel".

She didn't have enough money for both of them, so she left the catfood behind. Dad bought the cat food, ran out to her and gave it to her. She smiled and said "That's the nicest thing somebody ever did for me. Thank you."

I watched this video about soldiers who came home and surprised theyre loved ones, at first it was heartwarming and made cry a little then i thought about it a little and about how my dads a soldier and went to iraq, only we didnt have one of those special heartwarming moments. Instead, he had sent a letter to my mom asking for a divorce before he even made it home, when i found out about it i was crushed.When he finally came home, he came to pack.

My friends declined. While we where inside the fast food place at our table I couldn't help to look outside and see the homeless man ask for food other than money, I felt bad for my rude friends so I walked to the cashier and bought a bag full of food/water for the homeless man,it made me feel good after
I just do something as simple as help my mum out with house work like putting the dried clothes in wardrobes or cleaning because she's a single mother and works full time so it's hard for her, cus she looks after three of us alone. :)
although those were great acts of kindness I think it's really pretentious to post the nice things you do for people online, it's almost like you post it for your own satisfaction so people will say things like aww what a nice girl!
Honestly the best acts of kindness are those done out of the heart, and sometimes go unnoticed, just be nice because that's who you are and not because you can make a video about it.

The nicest thing someone has done for me lately would probably be my friend who helped me with my Drawing final by posing for six hours straight while I drew her in charcoal. My professor has been telling me I need to draw more from life and less from photos and he was right. Because of my friend, I did really well on my final. :)
At school we were doing a activity for a grade and it was called a (R.A.K) = Random act of kindness!
We had to do all these kind things and write them down then turn them in, and I thought it was great to see some one smile for doing something so simple that no one does any more.

there was this shirtless man sitting out on State street with a cardboard sign around his head that read:"Too ugly for prostitution, broke and hungry" ...after a while I decide to write the guy a note which read:"Dear man sitting on State street in Chicago, you are not 'too ugly for prostitution'. In fact, you are indeed 'too sexy for your shirt' :D I can't give you much, but I can give you this :)" *I slipped a dollar bill in there, that was all i had, wish I had more on me* and then he smiled
I made a promise to do something important for a friend, & it just flew right out of my head! I had to leave an apology msg (yuck!). A couple of days went by & I was getting ready to call her to apologize to her again when I rec'd something from her in the mail. It was the most beautiful card I had ever seen! Inside she had written the lovliest note thanking me for all times I've been there for her, & how grateful she is to count me as her friend. Nicest thing? Forgiveness
When my mom's dad died,i'd just forget about everything I was doing and helped my mom,if I saw her crying I'd always stay by her side. Every five minutes I'd make sure she was okay. I love my mom and I'd do anything for her. <3
My best friend paid for me to get out of my house for a week to come to hers. She lives half way across the country and she gave me spending money to spend there. It was nice.

When I was in middle school, I had some classes with a twin who was REALLY shy. One summer, I was looking at my yearbook and saw where she signed she said, "Thanks for talking to me when no one else would." I was really touched because I never had noticed I was being especially kind to her. I later found out she was home schooled after that year I knew her.
people with big hearts often just smile and it amazes everyone like the sunshine...and you are definetly one of them...helping each other is a certain gifting and today it is delightful when you have friends who are just telling you "hey i'll fix that for ya" or "i can understand you in any way"...and of course when you give that favor back...

When my mom's dad died,i'd just forget about everything I was doing and helped my mom,if I saw her crying I'd always stay by her side. Every five minutes I'd make sure she was okay. I love my mom and I'd do anything for her. <3

That was really kind of you when you put that money in your brother's wallet, i dont know why, but that touched me, to see someone, in this economy, do that for someone they care about, giving away money, that they may need, but know that someone else needs some too, although i dont know if your brother needs money, but the whole cernario is touching :)

one night i was at my mates place and she got given some bad news about her friend that had cancer over facebook and she went to her mums crying, i didnt wanna intrude seeing as i was staying there so instead of talking i hopped on her computer and typed out a massive thing saying that i'd always be there for her and no matter what she had me. when she came through i just sat back and saw her reading and then she gave me a massive hug. the feeeling knowing you made a difference is awsome

When I was in middle school, I had some classes with a twin who was REALLY shy. One summer, I was looking at my yearbook and saw where she signed she said, "Thanks for talking to me when no one else would." I was really touched because I never had noticed I was being especially kind to her. I later found out she was home schooled after that year I knew her.
