the spot where you hit it, has to be more smooth, and the microphone... advice: use headsets inside the drumbone! and the guitar has to play more quiet, und let ut the drums ;)

Brilliant work guys! I can't believe there are people narrow minded enough to click dislike or write nasty comments! You not only got a great rythm, but also all managed really well to "act" together like Blue Men too in your movements and expressions UNLIKE the others I've seen do BMG covers. I wish the drums hadn't overpowered you at the end though :^(

for what you guys had, you did good! something to add to effect, drum sticks work, but you hear the sticks as much as the tube. if you were to use padded sticks or mallets, i think you could improve your sound greatly. I saw these dudes live and you are well on your way to becoming Blue Men.

I disagree, the drums were great, however the drumbone wasn't miked enough. The cymbal playing was a bit excessive though. Guitar could have been louder.

hey, for an amateur performance you guys did a VERY VERY admirable job. I mean, this isnt any different than a bunch of people getting together and trying to pull off a broadway-caliber performance. With some practice, I bet any of you guys could audition for BMG and be able to perform at their level in a fairly short amount of time.

it was not a disgrace Spyda its called a tribute! and the "real" bmg ARE white (unless their blue). well I think it was awesome dr. bones. you guys did a great job. haha i liked in the middle you had to stop and fix the mic, it was improv tho :-) the best part of the blue man acts is when they improvise, so dont worry about it ;-)

Yeah, they put two complete mikes in it. I used two cheap ass mikes, destroyed them, leaving only the real 'microphone', and glued it into the tube, after soldering a jackplug on to it. Works great, but requires a real painful soundcheck, because it's quite a strange instrument to amplify.

drumbone and stick a little mike in both of them.

Intergrate those 'Damn mikes'! It really saves you a lot of effort and it means that you are not overpowered by the drums, as they produce way too much sound for the Drumbone to be heard.

Your drumming work is excellent. And if you integrate the mikes, you won'ht accidentally hit them ;)
