The opening and end of the song is very reminiscent if not the same as the opener to Wasted Years nice touch, after all the album cover has a Space Theme. Not to happy with the cover though, bring back Derek Riggs his interpretations of Maiden Albums is sublime and cannot be beaten. Good song gets better with every listen as is usually the case with Maiden songs. UP THE IRONS!!!!

@megapurify No I don't agree. It sounds like something new to me. Compare it to Killers, The Trooper, Run to the Hills, or Phantom of the Opera for instance and you'll see it's different. Every Maiden album is different. Even Janick says so in an interview before Rock In Rio.

maiden tunes always grow on you......and they only release a tidbit early......there are 6 songs on the new album that are 6:48 or longer.....This definately has a Bruce solo flavor....I suspect he wrote it.....their last 3 albums have been very different, but all distinctly Maiden....this will be no different.... I have the all te DVD's and CD's to relive the Maiden past....let's see what else the boys can do....

Maiden was new age heavy metal which was considered to be very heavy until thrash metal came out. So please don't be mad at me, Iron Maiden is my favorite band and I'm going to see them in chicago in a few days.
