i bought this heli and in 2 days thing has fallen apart not rommended for the beginner thats 4 sure pass this one by ...........anyone knw if you an build a plane out of the stuff servos motor rx etc????
I am a complete newbie- never flown co axl. I watched co axls fly and they seem too easy and boring. So I want to get thios. Am I making a mistake? Will I just crash this? Can I learn to hover on m,y first day? I'm an adult- kinda. Where is the best place to buy from?Chineese jade 155$? Thjanks in advance for any help
CB180D is a good one, the rotor head is made of metal, so it survive most crash, just get some extra main blades and tail rotors will be fine. The CB180D flies very stable, if you're able to handle a Co-Axial heli before, CB180D is right for you.
And you're looking for a place to buy, don't just choose the cheapest one, I suggest you pick a shop who stand behind the product, gives you warranty and support, this is a must to Chinese Made RC models.
It seems quite nice for a FP but I really think RC sellers and companys should really change thier requirements.
Bottom line a Single rotor helicopter IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS!
A coaxial is for beginners.
Changing this up a bit would bring more people to the hobby get a beginner that sees a single rotor heli that says for beginners then they crash in minutes and then think wow that's beginner and never pick up a RC helicopter again.
When they are talking about beginners, they are talking about people new to the hobby, not neccessarily someone who has never flown before. But even still, it is much easier to fly than a normal fixed pitch so if you were someone that wanted to skip the co axial stage as many do, it is much easier to start. As a begginer, I had it hovering first go.
This same heli is only @129 on Xheli.com. What with the markup?

I'm not knocking this helicopter in any way.
It seems quite nice for a FP but I really think RC sellers and companys should really change thier requirements.

It looks slick no doubt!
But the whole for beginners claim I think is far fetched.
A Single rotor helicopter is really not a beginner heli it's for intermediate flyers.
While it may be stable for a FP it would still prove to be a heck of a challenge for a beginner.
