Great casting with Johnathan Scott Taylor. An excellent choice to play Damien. The raven provides some spooky scenes.

The part at the :39 mark...those electronic sounds. This was epic "music". IDK what devil-music sounds like (lol), but I imagine this is playing on the express elevator to hell.

Jonathan Scott Taylor was to me the most chilling depiction of the Antichrist.

Sam Neill was good in the next chapter, though the film didn't impress me quite as much. The original is obviously the most chilling of all.

This was my favorite Damien movie! They chose the best demon child for this movie. Does any one know what the words say as they are singing! Many thought that was I evil as I practice the craft and sometimes my spells (Curse) work. But I do not worship the devil, I just even metaphysically than use actual physical violence like most mortals do.

It was done to correct a plot hole in the final conflict, since the first book/movie specified that the Antichrist can only be truly killed by all 7 daggers at the same time, and by being stabbed with only one, only Damien's body was destroyed, and not his soul. He was reborn as his son, concieved through an act of sodomy between Damien and Kate Reynolds.. she gives anal birth to his son.. which was REALLY fucked up.

Well , then i guess that making a movie after "the final conflict " makes sense , but the quality of "the awakening" is lousy, when one compares it with the previous 3 parts.Of course it does not bother me the fact that the story continued , (hell,let them make 10 movies, that is not the point)BUT make them good.The fact given that one knows the first 3 parts, "the awakening"appears as a low budget,b-actors,copy wannabe of the formers

@Coronerjackle88 I think all the omen movies had bad supporting actors, but that's just me.. plus the date they were made is mostly to blame, they took acting less seriously back then. I agree though, the awakening is terrible.. if they based it off of Armageddon 2000 [the book] it would've been way better.
