Uh, you're awesome at bass, have a fairly similar tone to Jason's (albeit only his REload forward tone, I believe, as that's when he started using Sadowsys, but whatever), and you just generally emulate his basslines well.

Hey mate,any tips on using a pick?I'm more used to used fingerstyle,but I love the tone I get with a pick

I've used a pick for nearly every bit of playing that I do, If you've never used one before your going to want to get to grips with one. Every pick is diffrent, thickness, and shape. Personly I use a 1.00mm triangle pick, alot more to work with and I find the thickness just right to *hit* the strings with. Go to your music shop and try/buy a bunch of them, see what feels and works best for you.

Very nice Sadowsky, playing, tone, and technique! It's nice to see someone else who plays pickstyle like Jason & myself (using your shoulder to generate power for heavier downstrokes and alternate picking sections).

I need to find a local bassist with Sadowskys so I can compare my Lull Modern 4 & 5-strings. From everything I've heard/read/know they're both on the same level of quality but Lulls have 18mm string spacing and 35" scale 5-strings.
