Friesans are for people who cannot ride anything else , surely cannot put horses thru their backs or on the bit and riders who are scare of their own shadows , Friesans are already THERE, good nature carriage horses that is why they are so popular in America and they can carry the fat americans

that is the most idoitic reasoning i have ever heard. First off, there's not alot of riders that can ride friesians at all. Hendrik has major suspension and it takes a talented rider to do a sitting trot on him. Next.. I'm far from a FAT american thank you!

@lowesdenstables Some people are just stupid. Its their job in life to be a troll, and try to get a rise out of people. Friesians are gorgeous, and part of that beautiful movement is the incredibly hard to sit trot. Its so big that you have to be comfortable in your seat to be brave enough for it. And their size can be intimidating to newbies. You have a gorgeous horse. <3

there might be a different way to measure horses i dont know about????but usually you measure horses with hands 1 hand is 4 inches so if he was 18.5 he would really be 19.1...Great video nice horse=)Good Luck at cometitions(im sure youll get some blue ribbons)

Actually this was when Hen was 3 yrs old and just started under saddle with our trainer. This year he's 6yrs old and I will be riding him in a few competitions. I'm very excited. Thanks for commenting!

Congrats on such a good ride! We just had Wolfgang down at our barn recently but, unfortunatley i couldn't attend the clinic due to finances (also i am a hunter/jumper mainly.) Where is your barn located?
