I'm not against any type of hunt. As long as the hunt doesn't make the species go into decline. If you start exterminating a species through hunt you got to regulate the hunt, and right now the only thing regulating the whale hunt is Sea Shepherds. I'm not against any type of hunt. As long as the hunt doesn't make the species go into decline. If you start exterminating a species through hunt you got to regulate the hunt, and right now the only thing regulating the whale hunt is Sea Shepherds. Japan could make laws about this but they dont, so someone else has to go in and regulate the hunt.

First off you should do a little research before you start calling greenpeace thugs. LOL They are not the thugs that are really doing a damn thing, it is the Sea Sheperds and they are awesome. Secondly, if you researched the whaling that takes place in Alaska and in Russia you would know that both places support cultural whaling, they do it for survival. Japan is a joke killing whales for profit not to live!

The UN recognizes Australia's claim. Japan has no such claim. The treaty has been in place for a long time, involving many countries.
Whaling is banned under IWC regulations. Research was permitted when lethal killing was necessary and nobody expected any country to kill more than 10-20 to get the results.
Japan is is cheating and flouting the rules. The people who created the allowance even say so.
There is no doubt about the truth behind Japans fake research.

We have since evolved and stopped realizing that we can also eat creatures that dont have fins and can walk on land. This is just a huge refusal by japan to eat anything that isnt salty mush, (one exception the cows that you people get drunk and whack and kill to eat as a way to make beef taste and look like fish.
