  • what happened your hand dude?

  • This douche has had a broken hand for like 4 years

  • Hi, I need to know if this motherboard is good enough for gaming. GigaByte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58. I'm going to have overclocked i7 980x 4.2Ghz, 2 grpahic card ATI Radeon HD 5970 PCI-E 16X 2GB GDDR5 Video Cad and 6GB..OR SHOULD I PAY MORE AND GET THE GigaByte GA-X58A-UD7 Intel X58? Thanx.

  • when they get better they'll be cheaper, bigger & better than the ones out now

  • I have two of these in Raid0 and its pretty good enough for me,flew past my previous Raid0. But the bad thing is a plenty of tweaks/maintenance needed.. realigning partition/offset..bla bla..

  • you are forgetting that you are talking about sata 1

    not sata 2

    why pay £420 for a 250gb ssd

    when i can get 7!!! 1tb sata 2 hardrives

    (£57 inc vat on scan)

    thats 28 times more memory

    thats 0.057p per gb

with the ssd only £1.86 per gb

so the ssd is 32 times more expensive per gig

  • 1 TB drives are way slower than an SSD.

  • cos ssd are fucking insane just have all your music films etc on other hdds and have your os and yor favorite game on the ssd lol not rocket science im getting a 128g and i have 5 tbs of sata in my xaser VI lol one on there bad boy will make it insane

  • you forget one thing why use a 128gb ssd for your os because it will mean you have to install all games and prograsm on that drive

i got 3 games nad a couple porgrasm on my main hdd and that takes up 50gb

games now can take up over 10gb each

    so thats only 12 games!!!

so you wont get the advantage of the speed untill they bring out bigger cheaper drives

  • Not that Expensive!!!!

    250GB in the UK is £540 ( $750 )

    My Netbook costs £469 ( Asus N10J )

    ... No Thanks x

  • i never would of thought of that

  • I have the 30gb version of this. It is absolutely awesome. I have windows xp sp3 on it with all the tweaks and it just eliminates loadtimes. I plan to buy another one and put it in a raid0 :D

  • haha he talk like his products!

    FAST xD

  • is this recommend to speed up a desktop system or only for laptops?

  • either works great

  • can you use this for ps3?

  • no.

  • really? i thought they would work, it would be so nice if they did

  • should be able

  • hmm anyone else know if this will work? (SSD for PS3??)

  • stop deleting my comments you cream cheese in a wig looking bastards.

  • rofl... wow. X}

  • wuts with the combover albert

  • spiderman.

  • lol

  • maybe parker should upgrade to solid state spidey senses to prevent future wrist breakage

  • you made me lol so much.

  • wow...... he shaved BFD hes no toby maguire

  • oh my god its spiderman

  • ROFL

  • Finally a review of an enthusiast product!

  • Hi, Albert will this work with ps3?

  • Actually, no. I know you probably don't value my opinion but I do know that a PS3 only takes 2.5" 5400 RPM SATA drives.

Not 7200 RPM or higher. And definitely not SSD either :\

  • i do value your opinion,

    thanks :)

    2.5" 5400 RPM SATA it is :)

  • Hey Toby McGuire ;)

  • OMG new tigerdirect cast, it's toby maguire!!!

  • who??

  • The guy who plays spider man!!

  • yahh u r big time sick

  • The only problem is that once I search for those items on any of those websites (tigerdirect, etc), the website stops working!@#!@

    Why does this happen?!@

  • Only 700-1000! For 250gb!

  • how do you install them in a computer?!

  • same as a hardrive

  • every comp has a 2.5 inch drive bay just put it in their and hook up the sata cable and the power cable and install windows and enjoy speed

  • OMG! what the heck? go back to the old hair dude!

  • the ocz 32gb version is rubbish because its really slow. get the 64gb

  • What happened to your hair??

  • i thought SSDs have limited amount of read/write life cycle??

  • wonder if these SSD would fit in a PS3 and would they make a difference?

  • Even it fit , it wont be compatible

  • o_0 Grow the facial hair back! LOL

  • Damn, you look hot.

    Please have my babies.

  • haha lol

    dude lose the hair cut

  • 0 rpm okay, go to wikipedia and search for 'solid state disk'.

    or search on google.

  • Albert, Please don't scare us by doing your hair like that.

    It's scary.

  • HHAHAHAH yay Albert is back!

  • this is albert:) hehe

  • who the fuck is that

  • alberts hair is pretty weird :P

    i suppose that's what you mean ^^

  • SSD's don't have writing/reading arms, so there's no RPM, you have to compare them to hard drives using data rate not RPM.

  • I think I will buy this.

  • There is no RPM in solid state drives there is no disk in it to spin there is no moving parts a bit like flash drives but a lot faster. Google it to get more of a explanation.

  • Sweet stuff

  • how about 320

  • how many gigs

  • this is awesome dude
