I've had root canals from hell and I know that the nerve space where the nerve was taken "root canal" is sealed very well. And that the most likely issue from a bacteria attack would be from a break in contact regarding the crowned tooth. I don't believe that I have ever had any issues from bacteria except a crown that cracked. Had it replaced. Peace
So what is it? A dentist recommends having a root canal due to infection; which if not treated could mean the tooth will need to be extracted. Should one just have the tooth extracted anyway?
It's all very confusing knowing who to believe or what is the right remedy.
Also, is there a way to cure the infection with herbs or plant based foods?
I got my root canals removed and I feel so much better. I felt immediately better when they were removed, felt tired for about a week afterward, and then felt sooo great, like I had a personality again. I do beleive these had been bad for my health and I'm glad I had them removed.
@bigkruns Wake up man, root canals have made many people sick, and they got better after they got removed. You play with your life if you have them in your mouth, they're like time bombs. Anyway decide for yourself, not for someone else. This man is speaking the truth, not just by research but it's all backed up by the testimonials of people, and that is the most important. Do some research before you start insulting older people. This man could save your life.
@secondbible well if poorly treated root canal is left untreated then actually just like other infections,it can lead to cellulitis.it can last for years if treated properly and we see lots of patients with previous RCT and they are completely healthy-Mentally and Physically. As far as choices concern, there are lot of patients who see their teeth as part of their body and they don't wish to have them extracted if they can be saved. So there is nothing wrong with RCT with gold standards maintained
The old man is talking about standard procedures without any evidence based medicine studies or research,he facts are only partly correct ,In root canal the necrotic pulp is removed and you can never ever remove the bacteria completely even by extraction, and the bacteria inside a filled root canal does have any substrate to feed so there is no logical sense either.
I'm pretty sure I need a root canal because I have a hole on the back of my front tooth and different doctors have said that I need a root canal to try to save the tooth because apparently is infected... now I'm scared and don't know what to do. HELP!
@julionica have you found a solution? Don't do the root canal! I have two abscessed teeth and that's what they want me to do. Try colloidal silver, fecal administration.
My god...dentistry is the most corrupt profession out there. They purposely try to extract as much money outta you as possible. They recommend root canals all the time....when was last time any dentist filled a cavity??? Yea,...it's been decades! They just don't fill cavities anymore because doing that will not help pay off their student loans which are in the millions of dollars
It's all a vicious circle of greed and corruption perpetuated by dishonest Dentists
@MatrixFactoryGuy That's because all the dentists are jews these days. They work together to scam people. They know you're going to get it pulled eventually, so they charge your insurance for a gold crown, don't tell you it's a gold crown, then cause problems so the other jew can get the gold out.
@MatrixFactoryGuy I finally faced getting my teeth fixed after one of the back molars cracked from an old filling. The ladies that did the x-rays and looked over them with me said there was no fixing the cracked one and I would need 6 or 7 root canals.
On the first appointment to start filling the lesser cavities the dentist was confused by what they said. We RC'd the snapped tooth and have filled all the rest.
Some are deep fillings but as long as they don't bother me...
Root canals are very unhealthy...bacteria can build up for many years and slowly poison the system or all of a sudden get infected and cause awful pain and an abces that requires immediate attention. And Implants (although now very popular, as well as expensive) are just as unhealthy (an old fashioned "bridge" is the only safe way for that type of problem).
@joshpembers well implants are based on same principals as metal plates and screws placed on fractured bones,pl if u dont know things then just dont say a thing
@bigkruns you are obviously entitled to your opinion. But you do not need to 'make me wrong by snide comment of 'if you don't know things...don't say...". My view IS BASED on facts. I know what I am talking about and I hold to my statement that both root canals and implants are not optimal & often cause major problems. But I will state that I know this is controversial. No "natural" Dentist or Periodontist would do either a root canal or an implant...while most dentists approve of both.
Doesn't surprise me...and the dentists fight with you if you chose to just have the teeth taken out. I have even had a dentist told me they wouldn't just take them out, and to go see another doctor.
Drill, fill, bill.
