I bought my first ever guitar from the guitarist in this band. A Wilson Rapier, cost me £25 I think. I think the guitar player was Davy Irwin? 30 years ago now, the mind plays tricks on me. John Wylie, the bass player, is a cracking fella. He taught me how to play a few chords, and I went downhill from there :-) To the lad going to the wedding: If you see this tell John I wish him all the best. He'll know who I am.
@Mancuso64 Just read your post, Ill mention you to John next time we go out for a beer. Davy Irwin did play guitar, your right. Not seen him for years mind.
Happy memories ... great single, and I've still got it. This and Trespass 'One of these days' rocked my world with Tommy Vance on friday nights under the pillow in my dormitory.
@MrMagpie1955 Wrong, they never had any ex members of the Upstarts, I know I was Fists sound engineer, I also spent a little time as the Upstarts engineer.
@Floydianslip00 Aha! I thought that probably wasn`t true, I can`t remember where i got that bit of mis-information from, possibly Kerrang! or one of the other mags, too many over the years to mention! I`m glad that has been cleared up, I knew the Upstarts in the early days, just after they had released Liddle Towers, and had been interviewed by Sounds. My cousin went out with Mensi at the time.Thank you for replying!
@MrMagpie1955 No probs, the Upstarts were cracking lads, I have some fond memories of some wild times on the road with them. I'm still in touch with Fist's bass player John Wylie, going to his wedding this October.
is this the same fist that released "storm" in 2005, or is that a different band. there isn't a whole lot of information available. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I've got the 7" with this cover, but there's another Version of the Song on it (The one Shown Right, with the Cover from the Album)

@GraveWarrioR
They released 2 versions, one on Neat and then again when they were signed to MCA. Re-recorded it on MCA cash.
