@TheKJVberean Then why is it when the Hebrew text is translated directly to modern day english it has a different meaning than what the KJV has? example Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities....And if you do a literal translation from the Hebrew text it states He was CRUSHED for our transgressions....so why is it the KJV has wounded when it should be Crushed? Which is what actually happened to our Lord and Savior....Cont.
Cont...Which back then when someone was crushed they were almost unrecognizable as a human being from being beat so badly. So why just use wounded to actually down play how brutal Jesus' Crucifixion was? This is the problem I have with the KJV. is that it isnt a literal translation of Hebrew/Aramaic language straight to modern day English. Not only that you have some publishers leaving out several verses and some leave out whole chapters.
Hey guys, just wanted to direct everyone to a new ministry site listed on the channel's page. (Youtube doesn't allow websites in the comments) It'd be great if you all went to that website and read/commented the blog posts. And saved it to your favorites. Love you guys and can't wait to worship with you in heaven.
You can't say that someone doesn't actually have doves for eyes, and then say a human can come back from death. Both are not true. You can't "cherry pick" what is and what is not true.
@Pharaoh481 He didn't say someone actually has doves for eyes. he quoted scripture and he said Her eyes are LIKE doves.....Like making this a metaphor and not literal. Good try on trying to debunk the bible lol.
A great series to complement this video are those by Voddie Baucham titled Decoding Da Vinci. An in depth study on how we got the Bible and why we can trust it.
@sirsaint88 my ONLY COMPLAINT agaist those and this is NOT tO SAY THOSE BIBLES are wrong but there missing some things the KJV has so this isnt a sin issue its a THE SARIANS mention IN THE BIBLE have put there bad scrolls THE King James version is good but we must also know When 5 bibles say Haughty spirit comes before A Fall and pride distruction 'and then one version says Arrogance before a fall and pride before distruction we should see Arrogance is wrong translati
The bible has already been translated before the KJV so that may not be 100% accurate either. We have to translate, and we interpret the word as we read anyway.
no need of anther version. its not hard to read. also one word can mean many things. In a sentence if its changed with another word that means the same thing. the hole sentecne can mean something else. or it can be interpreted as something else.
what about non believers that already have a hard time even reading? say homeless people with no education? do they "Deserve" to understand what the Bible says? not judging... just asking a question... ive had plenty of versions and they are all the same except some words are a little different... just like in our everyday lives... do you use the word "automobile" or do you ever use the word "car"...?
nothings bin taken away everything is the same all the words in the bible still have the same meaning like the word "ye" in old English that would mean "you" in modern times there is nothing about it that has bin changed in anyway the pronunciation may be different but the meaning is the same
as long as there are no books taken out or added and there is not a big change in words and whatever is written in means to explain the same thing as the original version which was in hebrew and part greek. Some people will not understand a lot of what the KJV has written in it... especially young people. God is not a God of confusion. if anything He wants us to understand the Bible... i have had different versions... but i prefer NIV which is simple to understand.. and explain to non believers
GO ESV/NASB

@Pharaoh481 That argument only works if you failed English in high school, and know nothing of Biblical history.

@Pharaoh481 Yes you can, and you do it the same way you would decide within normal conversation: context.

KJV is okay but English from 400 years ago is hardly relevant to how we speak today.
ESV, HCSB, NIV, NLT are much better translation in my mind to reach the those who need to know his word.

What bible is the right bible?
I believe that it is the kjv, so far.
I dont understand why we need new bible versions. It doesnt make sence why we today would change or take away the words of the bible?
