im so impressed by your hiking stick stoney. I think my first video will be my attempt at making one. I was going to buy some hiking poles but this is better than anything ive seen in the shops or online. Awesome Job Mate , all the best J : )
@stonybrokebushcraf im a carpenter, i work with a team of 6 chippies. without power tools im sure none of us could make something as good as that. il give it a go though : )
Absolutely brilliant. I love the whistle and tracks. I haven't read all the comments so somebody may have already suggested it or you may have thought of it yourself but it would be easy to cut a small groove into the cap and epoxy a small Boy Scout type ferro rod into it. Never hurts to have an extra fire making tool handy. Great job.
Happened across u on pintos vids and this is the first vid I watched of yours. Nice walking stick! I have made many but none so nice. Very inspiring. Am subbing. Will be watching more. Later man.
Do you have a video of the construction? or could you give me a reference to videos about how this would be put together. Most curios how wide is the stick and what diameter is the tube inside? thank you Gregg
You have put a lot of thought into your staff. Having only wrapped my retractable trekking stick with 550 paracord, you have put me to shame. Good job...
when you were showing us the outside I was thinking you had made a fine piece of kit, then you started pulling stuff out of it like it was the tardis ....... top stuff.
mate that was great, keep up the good work, the bushcraft thing is so addictive, the info, and all the things associated with the subject are endless.
Most excellent job! Personally, I would have added one thing... a wedge at the bottom of the stick for digging out rocks, roots, holes, whatever you need.
But, that's me, for my personal addition.
Outside of that... This is an EXCELLENT stick you have created!
If you've never heard of a fire piston, look it up on here... they are a really great way to get an ember going with very little serviceable parts. Good for long term.
I've got many a question on your build here, but I'm gonna guess and say that the tube inside for the blowgun (blowpipe for you across the pond) was taken from a solid piece of aluminum? If so, how did ya bore the hole in the wood for it?
Was the wood staff one solid piece or multiples? How did you glue it?
Wow, Bro' you incorporated a load of excellent ideas! Very interesting job! Maybe I will build a similar hunting companion... Thanks for this quality video!
wow dude, absolutely great do it yourself project. appreciate all the thought you put into it. the tracks are a nice practical and aesthetic addition. very impressed
BTW, Liked and Favourited!

Absolutely genious mate, have been thinking about making a survival walking stick for quite some time myself but never seem to get around to it :/
Genious idea that I never thought about adding those animal tracks as decorationes, just brilliant!
How heavy is that stick with all those items and the metal tube and what not, does it become tiresome for a full day hike?

@telemetryproductions
I will say, this is the most innovative thing that I have seen for bushcraft kit on here in awhile... awesome job! My only suggestion would be:
Design it so the aluminum tube and handle can also be used as a fire piston.
