  • @stonybrokebushcraf dude..................AWESOME BEARD

  • Absolutely brilliant. I love the whistle and tracks. I haven't read all the comments so somebody may have already suggested it or you may have thought of it yourself but it would be easy to cut a small groove into the cap and epoxy a small Boy Scout type ferro rod into it. Never hurts to have an extra fire making tool handy. Great job.

  • @rcross35 thanks man and good thinking

  • @spr00sem00se help your self my friend if i can help let me know

  • Absolutely genious mate, have been thinking about making a survival walking stick for quite some time myself but never seem to get around to it :/

Genious idea that I never thought about adding those animal tracks as decorationes, just brilliant!

How heavy is that stick with all those items and the metal tube and what not, does it become tiresome for a full day hike?

  • for some reason Kid247 every time i pressed record ide draw a blank no afence taken my wife laughed and said the same matey.

  • great job mate,,,

  • Great job. I love the way you've personalized it. I would have liked to see how the blow gun works and how you got it in there. Very curious.

    Cheers

  • my friend that is one fine solid staff, tailored to your needs, great mods.

thank you for sharing and my best, JC

  • thanks m8

  • Most excellent job! Personally, I would have added one thing... a wedge at the bottom of the stick for digging out rocks, roots, holes, whatever you need.

But, that's me, for my personal addition.

Outside of that... This is an EXCELLENT stick you have created!

    Well done mate!

  • @telemetryproductions

If you've never heard of a fire piston, look it up on here... they are a really great way to get an ember going with very little serviceable parts. Good for long term.

I've got many a question on your build here, but I'm gonna guess and say that the tube inside for the blowgun (blowpipe for you across the pond) was taken from a solid piece of aluminum? If so, how did ya bore the hole in the wood for it?

Was the wood staff one solid piece or multiples? How did you glue it?

  • thank you guys

  • Most wonderful. Ok, now I want one! just great! 5/5

  • Wow, Bro' you incorporated a load of excellent ideas! Very interesting job! Maybe I will build a similar hunting companion... Thanks for this quality video!

  • wow dude, absolutely great do it yourself project. appreciate all the thought you put into it. the tracks are a nice practical and aesthetic addition. very impressed

  • Great job...I really like the idea of having different animal tracks printed on the stick. 5/5.

  • thanks i just burned them in with a piece of hot wire

  • @theluckyleprechaun yeah and you could also do some plant leaves as well for edible plants to dress it up a bit further. Great idea!!! 5/5!

  • Great!
