Guys, take it from me, I've looked everywhere on YouTube for some good videos on to play fast.

Well, I got good news. Look up Pebber Brown on Youtube. This guy taught BucketHead as well as many other fast players.

Anyway, I wouldn't focus on his students though, I just wanted to give you some background on his skill at teaching.

He has videos on alternate picking. Look up Scalpel picking on his channel. His stuff is amazing.

It depends. Really good Ibanez guys always seem to be technical virtuosos, and really good Fender dudes always seem to be feeling gods. The Gibson crowd is usually a cross between the two...

Although their are lots of exceptions to this rule... my first guitar was an Ibanez, and for the first four years that I played guitar that was all I played, but I just don't like them now. They never sound as good as I'd like them too, and they just don't feel as solid as my Godin, or Fender.
