The Cross is where God's justice and love collide. @r5474 Jesus came for one purpose, to die as the Lamb of God, to voluntarily sacrifice Himself so everyone who trust in Him will be considered righteous and acceptable in God's eyes. The sacrifice of lambs in the Old Test. was a shadow/prophecy of Jesus' sacrifice. Passover the lambs blood was put on doorpost of houses and all inside were saved, those without the lambs' blood, 1st born died. John the Baptist, a prophet announced Jesus' ministry by calling Him, "Behold the Lamb God"
