This movie was good for TV level and the acting was decent but I agree with the fact that this one copies many other films - Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), The Thing (1982), The Hidden (1987), Body Snatchers (1993), The Arrival (1996), Them (1996), Mimic (1997), The Faculty (1998), The Lake (1998), Terminal Invasion (2002), Slither (2006) etc. plus space scene reminded me the one from Alien movie
just make flamethrowers legal and the problem is solved
